  4. Didnt get a ticket, lucky because i was parked in a bus loading and unloading zone that is from 7 am to 8 am lol.... I only had to jump start because i was jamming out to music changing oil and checking lights and some other stuff... O the fact i had just moved here and didnt know where my 250 feet of extension cord was lol.... Fool was talking about them giving tickets where he lives
  5. "Who you calling hoe smalls?" Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  6. This has become a very interesting thread..... And informative what would you say about using a power wheels battery? Those will run a power wheel for hours. Small enuff I bet it would run me and fools train horn....[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  7. You know, i guess it depends how much you value your life, but I really don't care for all the extra stuff thrown in. Depending on what helmet you get it isn't like trying to buy as new motorcycle every year , no where near the price. So far I have replaced helmets every two years mainly due to wear and I want a new look. I still use my old helmets too but only to a certain extent. I mainly wear half helmets but will say this much it seem the full helmets straps and such last alot longer, I just don't like the tunnel vision so to speak.
  8. Tie a string and dip it..... I've only lost one key doing that.. The string was 4 yrs old lol.. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  9. Why would you get a ticket? That is silly... I know of one place to put one but retrieving would be interesting... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  10. I was told not to do that here... I want to go back where I can leave my keys in my car and will still be there in the morning... Too much has come up missing.... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  11. That is what I was thinking. I run all led on tinker including my extra lights but am unsure of the current draw I have. Now if this guy is willing he could probably run a deep cell battery mounted in his trunk... I don't know other then plugging the battery in at night how to charge it... I know I can jump my tahoe from the bike but it takes about 20 minutes to get enuff juice back in the battery but not something I would do all the time. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  12. Not much to say the video will say it all. I will point out it was 36°F and windy and I was simply dropping my kids off at school... Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  13. Question because radios have preamp and he is talking amps and going boom. What can our electrical system handle. I know there are systems in cars that need 2 batteries and altenators. So I'm gonna think there has to be something to look for when we want to hook up more to our bikes.... Like watts? Amps? As in electrical draw? Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  14. I tell you something I came close to wrecking my sons Rebel because I got so used to my 83's brakes and the pinky pressure I darned near flipped over the handle bars, and then going down a hill one day some moron pulled out in front of me instead of trying to avoid the guy I knew I had good brakes and slammed the back ones and Skidded about 20 foot... and thats not cool at 65mph.... top speed on that rebel lol. All i did with my 83 is put HH on it and cleaned the calipers up real good and changed out fluid and she stops 70% better then when I first got her. I also used to drive Busses and Vans escorting people to there destination and I was taught to drive 2 minutes down the road. OK maybe not that far but you get my drift all you can do is plan ahead and keep all escapes open. Hope for the best but expect the worse kind of thing. I will say your gonna have fun switching up bikes every other weekend... getting used to braking and accelerating difference...
  15. where exactly are you sir?
  16. think i will have to stick with braums if i had to put up with a scalding lol, DQ have hundreds of miles between them...
  17. I have too I don't know about aftermarket higher output stator... Imho I would stick to stock. Now if you go all led that drop is just for a second. But I want to run other stuff and leave the system to my big rigs. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk
  18. Nah just a very good question here, If you get to go to your dealer and check one out up close and you will see what I am talking about, they heat shielding there makes no sense. The exhaust is hottest closer to the heads and your leg litterally might as well be sitting on a spit over a fire.....
  19. What I don't understand is why they did nothing to sheild the heat there well they did but i could tell right away when I looked at the one at the dealership that with that curve in the heat sheild that is there, and if you know anything about science in High school that would almost have a Jet effect the way it looks. I could be wrong but I just don't know why they didn't bring it out a little more and then down for a heat sheild. I can see aftermarket money made there lol...
  20. Dan I think it may be cheaper to grab this up but better hurry I just might grab it up!!! https://springfield.craigslist.org/mcy/d/99-yamaha-road-star-1600-trike/6484955614.html
  21. Yep he is the one that found this originally just didn't remember his screen name to tag him, and this guy here is one of them that I consider to be a guru on our bikes.
  22. Ye Yes I have a question sir, how well done is the left leg? Medium rare, Rare, medium well?
  23. I also bought the air cut off diaphragms too pretty cheap on ebay for 4 of them. I rebuilt my carbs for roughly $200 or little less. The carbs that I have on tinker now are the ones i rebuilt myself with this very kit. Now I just need to find ultrasonic cleaner to clean up my other parts carbs and possibly build another set...
  24. Well the other question would be.... are these going to be sober partiers? may not work to well if there is beer involved could end up with the leaning tower of well who knows.
  25. I have Pioneer head unit with bluetooth MVH-x360bt in tinker and its plenty loud enuff at hwy speeds, but cranked up all the way with bike turned off it will drain the battery you can watch the voltmeter, when i still had my digital meter on the bike at full volume i was seeing a .1-.3 draw while going down the road at 60mph. Really don't run it at full volume, I just don't know if our bikes could run an amp....
