Today I was cruising thru facebook looking for something to do. Well I found a 1986 Honda Nighthawk I just couldn't pass it up the guy was asking 600 for it so I snagged it for $560. It needs a couple of things but thanks to you all it looks easy peasy... One it needs push cable. But this little thing Moves. I let my buddy ride it and he comes back is this a 6 speed? I think it is 5 this hole time so shows what i know we found down on the motor and sure enuff its a 6 speed!! SO was thinking I would give it to my son as a replacement for his Rebel.. But after riding it I am not sure if it would be for him I don't need him killing his self on it. I can tell carbs need synced and a few other things but nothing too major that I can tell. So who here has owned one and what should I look for on this neat little thing?

I would say it runs better then mine with airbox off... They don't like that one bit they need air restriction....

Now to get the bumper off... gotta run to my friends house who also has a 2002 Tahoe and see where the latches are so i can put a new bumper on and tailgate possibly...

Well my dreams were shattered... I got more then what my truck booked for... would have been nice to get my truck tooken care of before the value tanked this month!! I still have my truck and retained it for blue book value of a Fair vehicle...

Well I may kick myself in the a$$ over this but, Finally the ball is rolling. Medical Claims adjuster calls me I only went to ER to be checked out.. But they offered to pay all medical bills and pay me for pain and suffering. Maybe I should have tried to get more money, But I was not injured I only got checked out they are paying my $1,500 Bill plus giving me a little on top of that. Being as I wasn't even really seeking that I think that what they offered is fair those Checks are IN the mail... also went and got rental car but feel like I am wearing it... Still got the adjuster coming by for the truck tomorrow so we will see where this one heads. Hopefully I can get another Tahoe I found a nice one over In Tulsa, OK. Only thing that sucks if I go out of state for a vehicle it becomes a PITA because I have to get ID/OD verification. Just another reason for the GUMENT to get more money...

Will have to try all of the above so far I am staying below my 1800 calories. Went for a 5 mile ride yesterday getting to point b was a struggle took me about 40 minutes to go the 2.8 miles... Coming back I did it in 17 minutes.. I also had slight 20mph wind behind me on way back.. The way there I had it head on....
