  1. That's a real good one!!! I like it gave me a chuckle!! Problem tho not all of us are old Like you Ol Timers..
  2. I don't know much but I will give just a tad of input.. Try to go diesel I have owned a rabit that had 288,000 on it. A friend owned a ford diesel it had around 300,000 on it, Then my girlfriends Uncle has a Chevy Van with almost 200,000 on it. They are older vehicles and I don't know what they put in Motor Homes but don't take my word on it. If I could have got a diesel Tahoe I would have! I would possibly google search the paticular one you get an eye on and look for reviews. That is just me tho, As I would also trust anyone of these guys with there honest Opinions too, I'm sure this may a whole new can of worms too... Kinda like our tire, oil, and what have ya threads. Good Luck!!
  3. @bongobobny @Yammer Dan well they cleaned up pretty good now I need to repolish them as I should have done that after I put them on the bike.

  19. I know nothing but will say this.. You need to check the wires that @yamagrl showed you for one. Also it appears to me the Black wire is most generally ground, and while its a ground it almost looks like they use one main ground wire. I don't know the reasoning for this. I would also heed to what she also said about them being replaced as a set. Because if PO put on high output stator and left the R/R alone.. I would think if he did that then the R/R should have been changed out to match this. I have learned my lesson a long time ago I am not inferior to women; THEY ARE USUALLY RIGHT 85% of the time!!!!
  20. Mine has zippey tie pin striping is that a mod:cool10: o and a cup holder after market cruise/throttle lock.

  22. Warning I am not an expert. What I did when I was in doubt is pulled the side panel off and hooked a piece of fuel line to the outlet. Then I put the other end in a jar or bottle. Then I hit the key to see if any gas was flowing. Mine seems to kick on for about 2-3 seconds then stops. I don't know but mine isn't very loud if the pressure is there, so there is no way I would hear it over my radio if it is on.
  23. So does your handlebar remote work with your radio? I would have figured those wouldn't after you put in aftermarket radio. I got a kenwood in my Tahoe. You must be bored tonight Lol.
  24. Greg I hear ya being bored I went out figuring I am gonna tinker with the bike, Figured the mufflers would take me a little bit to get off. They took a hole 10 minutes, Been trying to entertain myself. So far I have gained knowledge and picked on @cowpuc and I'm sure he be around shortly to tell you . I'll come back with:icon_lurker: check after a while. I do have one for any I want to put L.E.D. Lighting on the inside just above the cylinder heads. I stayed off the road today due to it being a Holiday.
