I seriously thought you was WOT when you say they go all the way over. Stupid CHIT ROCK!! I have always had problems on two wheels on it. OK I had a 69 Mercury Montery with 390 under the hood and One time I did wipe out on a chat rock spot on a gravel road. I was only doing about 30. But chat rock has always spooked me on 2 wheels even on a dirt bike but they seem to have alot better grip maybe I need to get Nubby Tires on the Venture. Yeah I scuffed the lower fairing with the highway peg and got a couple of Cracks on my Right hand side saddlebag and she landed on the mirror. Woke up with my foot sore as heck but other then that just peachy. Seeing is believing sometimes tho. -
Hummm im gonna have to take a look Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk

Please tell me you aren't talking about the t that is pressed into carbon#1. If you are you can do one of two things just by the number one carbon body or get the elbow that presses in and buy two fuel t's one to go between number 2&1 and the other one coming from the fuel pump and run either side to numbers 1&2 and 3&4. OK this is really embarrassing But aproximately at 12:06 tonight I laid her over and she came completely over. I was like omg and in front of someone they were turning onto the road I was getting ready to turn into but I thought they was gonna go straight. So I am on that damned white chat and when I hit the front brake it cause just enuff to get that chat **** rolling. OMG there she went and I got the Hell outta the way all I could do is watch and jump!!! Hold on need some music. :fiddle::crying: Ok I think I am better. I think. Anywho's needless to say they were turning in the drive I was turning out of... I started walking towards My Friends house to get him to help me and one of them come down the driveway going man you ok. I'm Like I am fine Hit that brake and it locked the front wheel all I could do was get out of the way!! Anyways that guy helped me lift her on the gravel and I got out of there with my tail between my legs. Anyways @Flyinfool you were right. They do come all the way over I am glad I replaced that TCI cause it did like she was supposed to and shut down Good thing I think Considering I just filled the tank on her. Now I think I'm gonna play some COD to maybe get a little dignity back tonight. -
But yeah I tried linking my carbs but didn't like it. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk

The Jason mod is from what I remember is exchanging lines and linking carbs all I simply did was remove the hose to the yics chamber and plugged the ports where the hoses went into engine now the inners I couldn't remember what someone did to never have to replace the caps. I just put rubber caps on and took the chamber out and put it in a box. Thought about leaving the two inner hoses and screwing bolt into hose and clamping it. But wasn't sure if that would work. But to get to inner hoses the carbs have to be removed to get into remove them and put the caps on. So if you ever need to replace the caps on the inside is a PITA!!!! I have read somewhere about the caps breaking I think the just ended putting bolts where the ports are. When I did mine I couldn't find the post. Sent from my LG-K371 using Tapatalk

1983 Venture carb kits
snyper316 replied to Nightwind15's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
They will work with our ventures the only thing in that kit that don't work is the metering valve. Now if I remember correctly we could use the metering valve but only if we replaced the metering valve seat. Now if you want needle jets and such um thats a different story I believe those have to purchased individually. -
Part 33 Um sir I seem to have lost mine! I took Marie's appendix out when I was chasing that darned miss in her that ended being the Spark Plug Cap. Too be honest she does seem to want to rear back on me. Not sure about the mileage thing cause still waiting to hear back about my Sync Guages. Too be totally honest I cant really tell any difference in the performance of the bike but just maybe; Just maybe a little bit more kick and a bit of a rumble.

I don't see why we would seems they don't

Too bad you don't live closer I have 2 gallons left after buy 3 gallons. I used nuts, bolts, and 3 gallons of evaporust in my gas tank and boy did it clear that tank out. Which I would say toss three gallons of it in your tank throw the nuts and bolts in it. Then every 4 or so hours go out and shake the crap out of the tank and rotate it. Just make sure you plug the hole's I lost a gallon forgetting that. I did that for a week straight with my gas tank but I actually went and bought a package of ten nuts and ten bolts. Funny thing tho only 9 nuts came out and the other nut ran off. I'm dead serious. It is not in the tank. -
On second thought that does sound like some pure adreneline pumping fun!!!

But then where would be the fun in riding a motorcycle you fall off you just go throwing sparks 20 feet in the air and gliding off the highway over the ditches and possiblly being launched like a turtle!!!
