Evidently he found my facebook page . I just say what I feel if ya don't like it, then unfriend me. Because if I post it there its aimed at anybody that fits the shoe. :duck:Hopefully it don't get kicked off at me!! I have settled way down from what I used to be tho. Partly because I have my older children in my life, the ones views I do not agree with. I am an 80's kid I grew up on bikes, horses, go carts and building forts in the woods. Heard the good book on sundays and we sat at the table as a family for meals. So I am still old fashioned in that since, I don't feel I should have to cater to others just to make them happy. Trying to word this carefully because I am no means trying to offend anyone. Most of you grew up in different times as I, But I mainly learned my beliefs from my Grandpa, and have always seemed to get along better with the older crowds. This younger generation I pretty much . Most the time when I try to talk to them I start feeling like I am giving them :backinmyday: speeches. I am only 39.:rotfl:But I enjoy being on this site and a part of this forum.. For one I don't have to deal with them pesky ads, Crap that automatically plays like Yahoo News, makes me just want , Top that Most on this site are for the most part Mature Inteligent life forms. . However it is funny when you do go on one of your rants on facebook on how many will actually comment going Who. You start to wonder if all your friends are Owls.:rotfl:anyways enuff of the rambling, and @Skid now who in there right minds would want to bad mouth elected officials, they might retaliate like maybe poison our drinking water . Thats my conspiracy and I am sticking to it.

I was using a 14 year old battery in my bike
snyper316 replied to Lug Nut's topic in General Tech Talk
Can I ask what kind of Yuasa battery was used. But 14 yrs is a very long time for a battery. Also the pictures I don't see no pictures. -
I placed a bid on item on ebay and won it. However as you can see in the pictures the grip side for the throttle pull is broke where i guess it is plastic. I won't be using the whole cable set. I just need the cable push on the carburetor side. Which I notice there is two nubs, Which I have never had to mess with this cable because it has been broken since I bought the bike almost 2 yrs ago. I figured since I picked this whole kit and cuboodle up for just 14.99 plus 4.00 in shipping I couldn't really go wrong. It had the buy it now price of 29.99 plus the 4.oo shipping. So my two questions on this are is this fixable? How does the two nubs go in the plate because I only see two slots one is for throttle pull the other for throttle push. I have looked for diagrams how this cable goes in but to no evail I can't seem to find one. Also the person let me know when they went to put it in the box they noticed it was broken, and asked if I wanted to move forward. I figured hell why not, When I called the Salvage/Bike shop he was gonna sell me just the push cable for 15.00. So I think I got a good deal on it, Just have no clue how it connects to the Carburetor.

I was thinking the same thing, But after my Uncle flooding my page with his political Rantings. This has actually been a life long motto of mine to do my darndest to step away from Political or Religous conversations. I just agree to disagree or however that goes. I figure yes the man said tell people about him, but some take it too far. The politics thing it can divide people and for my uncle to say what he said took it too far and told him so. But I do enjoy a good civil political argument and rants. As long as it is not one that just keeps repeating the same agenda.

Skids Ordeal
snyper316 replied to Yammer Dan's topic in Inspirational, Motivational, Prayer Requests, Etc.
Snow and ice on the ground, church was cancelled here. Prayers coming your way skid. -
Wonder how they would react if they found out your machine is to blame for the mess? A dinner plate well hopefully you don't have the stoneware ones they weigh like 5 lbs it seems. Glad to hear your on the mend either way tho. Get better soon but don't over do it.
-
To the heater, Would this be a wise decision? I would think that is why they need the rescuing. cranking up heaters and melting the ice!!!
-
Well I am guess fool is still on the mend, went outside to ice around 4:30 or so, ran to Walmart came back out and there was snow on the ground with ice underneath it!!! My daughter sure is Happy!! So far there is about 1/2 an inch on the ground and it is still coming down supposed to stop a little before midnight. I have never seen this before I was coming back home and watched my windshield crack don't know if there was tiny spec i never seen before but all the way across my windshield like a bird we would draw with the wings curled upward. Missouri has been getting hit since last night with this sleet/snow mix and sleet then snow. Most people around here are driving sensibly but I know on 44 they seem to think you keep driving 60-70 mile an hour in there semi's and 4 wheel drives made for a nice parking lot on I-70 and I-44. but I am happy for the snow.

Leathers? Frigid? 54? Umm Two days ago I took shorty for a ride in shorts. Didn't go to far tho I was just missing some jersey gloves. I would have went to town and back If I had them. It was 18', I generally wear short till about 15' as long as there is no wind. Then again it is a constand 68 or higher in my house and people complain they are cold. I remember a boss went down to Florida in January for vacation he said he was running around in a tank top and shorts, He said people down there were in Winter coats and asking aren't you cold.

Humm Maybe we can blame my doors being froze shut on Dan!!! Or maybe one of our Canadian friends after all they have the show Ice Road Truckers.

got some time finally, MPG questions.
snyper316 replied to baylensman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Fool I have seen people say that on the 2nd Gens I thought maybe there gears were higher, I would have thought Higher Rpms meant less gas mileage. But thanks for clearing that up for me. -

snyper316 replied to baylensman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Wait I usually use 5th gear when I get up to about 50 mphs and dont down shift till I hit about 45. But my bike is an 83 so is it better to keep the rpms up. Like say I am going around 25 mph do I want to keep it in 2nd? -
Hummm wondering if dear ol @cowpuc is feeling like this about now... of course he probably shouldn't be out shoveling snow, I know there is others getting hammered. So thought I would share this..
