I can get in the low 40's at interstate speeds if I stay out of it. Then if I get up at 80+ then I'm down in the low to mid 30's. Running two lane road at 55 to 60 best is at 44 or 45 mpg.
If the weather is good, I would like to ride on down to a Charleston on Tuesday and cruise around. Hopefully find a good place there for lunch. If anyone know a good place let us know.
I'll be there on Monday 13th till Thursday 16th. I had some blue green points to burn. Staying out next to the old Wacca Mall just outside Myrtle. I think most of the events moved south to Murrell's inlet or to North Myrtle. I've been back down during the fall rally and still a lot of bikes in the area.
I haven't saw a 765T with life map updates yet. does anyone know if Garmin make a similar model with the lifetime updates? I've been looking at the refurbished 1300LMT model.
Anyone else using Ooma VOIP service? I'm trying it out after a couple friends talked me into it. They have been using it for years with no phone bills. Its free unlimited local and long distance calls but I do have to pay the taxes ($3.71/month) Nothing like a free home phone....
Garmin is the way to go in my opinion. I like mine and had good service with Garmin. A friend of mine has updated it a couple times for me. (free). My next GPS will be another Garmin with the free map updates.
