Waterfalls are always nice if you can get to them. We did have a good ride last year up the parkway.

Only 316? Thats just a short ride

Yes we had to google that info not too long ago. One grape hit the floor and was gone. Our dog swallowed it before we had a chance. Luckily one didn’t hurt him but he had us worried for a while. Plus he has ate several items just to puke then back up a couple days later. One being the girls tampon.

Been there and done that. Looking forward to doing it again this year on a different ride. I need a new pic for my wall. And I never go fast, it’s against the law. And I never go faster than my angels can fly…

That is for you decide what you’re comfortable in doing. Glad to know you’re still going to be hanging around. If I ever stop riding, just bury me.
-
Congratulations!

I will be there this year again. I haven’t missed one yet. I wouldn’t want to break my streak. As long as you all will let a Harley join the group
-
We had temps on the upper 50’s in West Virginia and I got out to ride too. Looking forward to 2020 3.0

Holley River State Park is an excellent campground too in a beautiful area in West Virigina I just need a date to set it up that is open

I will be at Myrtle Beach Bike rally with an Ocean front room from May 15 - 21, Ocean Front at Jeep Week in Daytona Florida for April 24 - 29 August 15 to August Sunday August 20 in Blairsville GA And any others I can find to ride to if Don has a Maintenance Day in Ohio

Fantastic! Didn’t know as I just saw this thread. The Valkyrie are definitely one that stands out and can be recognized by the unique design. I loved the Venture but the Ultra Classic feels much more nimble to me. Since you’re back “in the saddle” I expect to see you on the road more in 2023.

Time flies especially during the warm summer months for me. There is never enough time to take all the vacations I want to take each year. I still get a day in the 50’s or 60’s here and there to ride but I’m looking forward to riding season again

It's great to be able to ride during the winter months in West Virginia
-
That is pretty much so. I found the Yamaha was getting harder to find parts for and find a mechanic. That is one reason I went to the ultra classic. Harleys cost a lot more to maintain but there are lots of aftermarket parts and places that will work on them locally for me
-
I know the Ventures has lots of miles in them but I feel better traveling with less miles on the clock
-
Yes it is sad to let her go. She has been a great ride and there are still lots of miles left. I just ride too much each year
-
Took a few pics today of the ole girl to advertise her for sale. Anyone that's been around here for a while knows she has been well taken care of the past 13 years I've owned her. Lots and lots of extras. She has been to a lot of good VentureRider Meet and Eats. I have listed her on this site first.

I can see Yammer looking down and just shaking his head at me. He would have never done anything to hurt my feelings, but he would have fun with my newest "character flaw"
-
The Ultra Classic feels much lighter and I enjoy the sound and maneuverability but I am not a fan of the tri-glide. The short narrow wheelbase just doesn’t feel as stable as the venture with the hannigan kit
-
I often wonder what Yammer would said to me if he knew I was riding a Harley….🤔

It’s like potato chips, you just can’t stop at just one
