Looking for a good set of mufflers with a low bass rumble. I don’t want anything too loud but a little extra rumble during acceleration. I was searching for a set of Road Kings but unable to locate a set without the catalytic converter. Any ideas?
  10. I have used Interstate batteries for year and always get 5 years out of them. I just got one last week and cost $97.00. I don't use a battery tender thru the off season. If I can get out at least one day a month I will start it up in the garage. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180424/80a1138df093183258aba0aeeea44434.jpg
  11. My renewal will be coming up soon and I’m more than willing to spend the $12 for another year. Thanks to this site I have accomplished more maintenance on my bike that I would have never thought about if it wasn’t for VentureRider.org. I saved way more than $12 just last week again changing out the slave cylinder myself.
  12. Still getting ready for summer. Replaced the battery today so actually the next five summers I’m good for.
  13. I’ll have to see if I can find the one I didn’t lose and get the measurements. I saved it somewhere but would like to get longer spacers so I can split the fairing without removing the lights.
  14. I can still l find you all up on the hill. Just don't forget to wave as you pass by Ardian & I in the cabin on the corner
  15. Chief, Hamburger Joe's at noon in North Myrtle. (712 48th Ave. S., North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582) It across from the vendor area in Barefoot Landing. We have always ate at noon and then went over to the vendor area and walked around a while. As for places to stay in Myrtle, there are lots of places. take your pic. TDunc and I will be there all week from Monday to Friday
  16. I’m searching for the stick spacers to go behind the aux driving lights. I lost one last year and had to improvise for the time being. Anyone know a good place to find them at?
  17. I had it out and back in by the time he got here but was a big help finding a leak and bleeding the system.
  18. I completed changing the slave cylinder, motor oil, and air in the tires. May have to change the battery before next long trip but as soon as the weather breaks it will be ready to roll.
  19. Needless to say I got a couple pistols in my inventory. The AMT .380 I consider is just a personal protection with not much accuracy over 40 feet. My everyday carry is the S&W 9mm Shield with upgraded sights. The 9mm has a good punch and easily concealable. Accuracy is pretty decent but comparing it to the 686 revolver, 40 cals, or 45 cals is like comparing apples to oranges. Everyone has got to find the middle ground between being able to conceal and having good accuracy. When you give up barrel length to conceal some accuracy is lost. But lots of practice solves that problem
  20. I've been going there for years during bike week. The city tried to ban things but failed. Only thing accomplished was a loss of revenue. The venders are just set up out of the city limits of Myrtle.
  21. Myrtle Beach Bike Week is coming up soon again. I'm hearing Hamburger Joe's calling me for another "mini meet & eat". Maybe thinking about mid week on Wednesday, May 16, '18
  22. Today was a success I think. Took about 20 minutes get the old one out. And maybe 4-5 to get the new one back in place. Thanks to Yammer for his assistance today too. And don’t no one ask how I know but you must place both crush washers back on the clutch line or it will leak. Especially on the back side. Took longer to bleed the lines and get the pressure back up than anything else.
  23. Ok folks its out. Now to get new one back in....
