Glad no one got hurt. Sure makes a inconvenience. I know feeling, my mother had a tree limb hit her house last week. Luckily she only got a hole the size of a fifty cent piece in her roof. The first tree was over 100 foot tall and the second tree was about 60. Now the first tree is about 40 feet tall and the other one might see 8 feet. Needless to say she doesn't have as much shade as she did have in the back yard. Glad you're OK.......

Once I investigated an incident where the tire blew off a tractor trailer and ripped off the metal bar that holds the mud flap. The metal bar went through the windshield of the car behind it. Lucky for the driver it was on the passenger's side, lucky there was no passenger, and bad for the seat.....

Question re: Progressive Rear Shock
Skid replied to Skid's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I was hoping to find someone that has already changed them out to see how the ride is. I really like the Progressive in the front, best $60 ever spent, but trying to find more info about the rear..... I will remember to take photos of the change out.- 12 replies

Question re: Progressive Rear Shock
Skid replied to Skid's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I think the Progressive 420 rear replaces the shock and spring..... Anybody else got a suggestion?- 12 replies

Just ride with them a short while and they will see why you are riding a Yamaha... When you're not the one broke down on the side of the road, oryou blow one of them off the road one time, they'll understand..... but all that chrome is pretty setting along the road.....just glad it's not my bike.

The WV Legislature was attempting to change the law this year, but it didn't pass through. They were wanting to class them a separate class of vehicle, but as for now they fall under the definition as a motorcycle. I imagine as time goes on and more are on the road, they will pass something to class them in.... I had to educate a local man earlier this year, he wasn't happy.

Here is another 3 wheeler that is on the road here locally. Buy DMV definition, it is still considered to be a motorcycle (3 wheels or less) which means a rider/passenger must have motorcycle endorcement, wear a helmut, and have headlights on at all times.

Is there a CB antenna for sale anywhere?
Skid replied to Nemo's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I like the looks of the FireStick. Didn't think I would until after I switched it out. And it does work better than stock.- 12 replies

I don't know if the Wings are like the Venture or not, but when I switched to the Progressive Springs it made the best ride possible. I made sure I put the proper oil back and did not add any air to the front and its ride prefect...

A friend of mine called me this evening and asked if I could check the cb's standing wave on his 1994 GoldWing. Can someone give me an idea where the best place to locate the antenna cable and get to a connector?

Wow, thats is real good mileage for a rear tire. I've been holding off going to the Elite 3s, but after that I may switch next time..... The Elite 2s are getting harder to find. Thanks for the pics.
