I haven't really looked at any of the drums, I guess I just felt that they were too bulky.

The MP 15 is mil spec but the SR22 is the same as the Ruger 10/22 rifle it on a AR look platform. It takes the same barrel mag as the 10/22. I’m searching for an HC3R 25 round mag but there on back order

Not Mayor yet. Still only Councilman & Municipal Judge, Trustee, Security Director, & businessman. Election is June 4th. then I can add Mayor to the list. LOL. The AR started out a plain Anderson in the 5.56 nato with 1/8 barrel. The Key Mod rail added lots of real estate to add extras. Then I added the iron sights and Vortex Crossfire optics. I really like the Vortex. I added some Magpul pieces and researching the Magpul stocks. Not sure till I get to lay my hands on a couple first. I got a half dozen pmags coming Monday. The light and laser is on my wish list.

I’ve been following this thread some and enjoying the comments. I’ve been modifying and slowly building up another AR. Not sure what all I’ll do but if I got enough parts left over I’m going to build another one from scratch.

Gassaway is a small town of approx 1000 - 1100 people. Everyone knows me and how to find me but most doesn’t know when the elections are. Usually less than 100 people votes. I just need to let them know I am running and when the election is. I should be able to pull this off easily.

Got my political business cards ordered and getting ready to start the campaigning. What does everyone think?

Four years ago the Blairsville Motel was full of VentureRiders and we all had a great time setting out on the parking lot till late. Two years ago the only ones at the motel was TDunc & I. Seems like the ones at the campgrounds will disappear after dark or they are camping at a location unsafe for two wheels. I was just checking before making my choice....

Who plans to stay in the campground and who is planning on staying in town?

I stand corrected, it did start August 23 to the 27th that year. Seems like there was something going on in the park that year and it was moved forward a week.

The 2017 Vogel started on August 16th and went thru the 3rd weekend. I ride down on the 14th that year. I’ve never missed a Vogel ever.

Vogel & Ashville Rallies has always started on Wednesday and ended on the third Sunday of the month for the last 15 - 20 years

The date should be August 14 thru August 18 if it is going to be the third weekend

I took care of one last week and soon will be in the freezer. We still got a week of muzzleloader season and eight more days of doe season before Dec 31st. I plan to take care of at least one more
