Four years ago the Blairsville Motel was full of VentureRiders and we all had a great time setting out on the parking lot till late. Two years ago the only ones at the motel was TDunc & I. Seems like the ones at the campgrounds will disappear after dark or they are camping at a location unsafe for two wheels. I was just checking before making my choice....

Who plans to stay in the campground and who is planning on staying in town?

I stand corrected, it did start August 23 to the 27th that year. Seems like there was something going on in the park that year and it was moved forward a week.

The 2017 Vogel started on August 16th and went thru the 3rd weekend. I ride down on the 14th that year. I’ve never missed a Vogel ever.

Vogel & Ashville Rallies has always started on Wednesday and ended on the third Sunday of the month for the last 15 - 20 years

The date should be August 14 thru August 18 if it is going to be the third weekend

I took care of one last week and soon will be in the freezer. We still got a week of muzzleloader season and eight more days of doe season before Dec 31st. I plan to take care of at least one more

Sounds like a plan. I have antennas for 40 & 75 meters that works great. Adrian (TDunc) has his license too. I've talked with him a couple times on 40.

I have a bright white Sylvania silver star bulb in my headlight and would like to change out the driving lights to a white light too. The driving lights are a sealed beam and other than the HID lights I cannot find a good white light. Anyone know of any replacement for the 30 watt Wagner 4449 lights.

I changed out the Slave a few months ago and it took several times wiggling the handle to work out the bubbles. After a while I let the bike idle to vibrate out bubbles and also tied the clutch back over night. Took sometime but it all worked.

I’m still searching for a set of slip-on if anyone knows where a set is. I just missed a set of RK Slash Cuts by a couple minutes.
