  3. I suppose I stand corrected. I must have read it wrong then...thanks George:thumbsup2:
  4. I'm getting ready to replace the tires on my bike this winter. In comparing the Avons & E3's, the E3's looks to have a heavier load rating. I've ran the E2's on my 1st Gen for years and been very happy with them. I'm going to E3's on the 2nd Gen.....:2cents:
  5. Must be a case of CABIN- FEVER...
  6. Skid

    Do you agree.

And you mustconsider the "Drag Factor" of the surface in.........
  7. I don't know anything about the mirror mount. I've been using the handle bar mount on my Garmin 260 with the 3.5 inch arm and really like it. I've saw the clutch / reservoir mount and it looks nice.
  8. Unless you do like I did and put the State in the location for the city. I like the State displayed better. No one knows where Gassaway is.... Of coarse you could put your city and state in the city location too....
  9. I really need to change my tires this winter. I just noticed my 880 Met's are both early 2004's...

  13. About the same RPM's @70mph, but I get 47 mpg.....even riding 2-up.
  14. I notice at Vogel this past year that there were a few members that their antennas were switched....

  16. Yep sound like my first experience too, but got used to it and I love the forward controls. Just wait after riding a Second Gen a few months, then go ride a First Gen....
  17. I know where a very sharp 86 First Gen with several upgrades completed and a almost new set of E2's mounted, some extra parts including a brand new rear E3 tires, that is FOR SALE in West Virginia for less than that....
  18. There is nothing better then having a big garage to put your toys in. Mine is still work in progress, but I'll get it finished in time....
  19. I think I got a pic of Yammer with one of the young ladies. I won't mention is was only 16 days old..... Not sure what the Warden will say?
  20. Poor Squid, he just can't get along with anyone anywhere!
  21. I got a chance to sit on a new 2010 Honda Fury today. A friend stopped by to show it to me. He sold his HD Road King off and got this Honda recently. Honda definately took a different approach when they created this bike. It uses a 1300 VTX motor and made a very clean look above the motor. The stretched end and gas tank really made for a custom look, along with the 250 rear tire. I wasn't impressed with the puney car horn, but at least Honda did put Dunlop E3's on at factory. There wasn't any marking on the tank which made it hard to recognize at first. Neat looking machine, just not my style in my old age.....
  22. If you're in South Carolina, its probably whats left over from Ida....
  23. Thanks Dave, I'll have to check that out more closely.
  24. I took mine off a few years back, took it up to the Yamaha shop and got it rebuilt for about $60.00.
