  1. Checked the fuse and its ok. I had a VTX for the last 4 years and the fan would come on at red lights and you could hear it. Will check the fan today running direct power to it. Thanks for the reply's.
  2. After a week of riding in 80/90 degree weather i cant remember hearing the cooling fan coming on. So either they are super quiet or its not working. Can anyone suggest some trouble shooting to check if fan is functioning correctly.
  3. Ok ...I am thinking I should have posted this in the second gen tech section so thanks for letting me carry on. If the mods want to move this post to where they see fit.
  4. The links are 7" eye to eye and look to be black. Not sure what to think. Nice boots but at my age I might fall down and not get up.
  5. Great advice I'll check into those links ..never would have thought about looking for those thanks .
  6. Alright brothers and sisters new owner here of a 2002 midnight Venture. First impressions on the bike is that it is smooth with more power than I thought it would have coming from a 1800 VTX S. Second is its a little high for my 32 inseam so not feeling real comfortable yet on it. So read lots of info on the bike and the many mods owners have done so I know I have some options available to me for lowering the bike. The previous owner I believe put extensions on the risers to bring the bars back a little. What I am wondering if any one has put some T-bars on these maybe from a Harley since the spacing is the same as the Harleys ? Thanks in advance...safe riding Joe
