  1. Not a bad idea...oh, Honey..............
  2. I used to be able to log in to my daily viewed sites and my sign in info was retained in my computer and I went directly to the site, grabbed a cup of coffee, and sat back to enjoy. Now, each time I visit this site (and the others) I have to reinput my user name and password...gets a bit tedious (yes, I know, I AM lazy!)... is there a way around this?
  3. I, too, have wrestled with the C/T thing...just don't know. I see what everyone posts, pro and con...the pros seem to out weigh the cons, BUT, I cannot get past the thought that if it was the thing to do, Honda would put them on from the factory, or, at least, okay them (including dealership installation for those that want to change over). To me, a machine is engineered a certain way...and to mess with that engineering is to ask for trouble. That being said, I am leaning (heavily) on trying it next tire change. See...I told you this is troubling to me!!!!
  4. We DO need to be reminded just how sacred life is...and how quickly it can be cut short. I think it is very hard for us to face up to the loss of this brave young lady...I, for one, hate to hear about anything bad happening to young people, but, we do need to face the truth. As a survivor of cancer, I know how ugly the disease is...I would not wish it upon my worst enemy. Appreciate your compassion for these folks. God bless.
  5. Nothing wrong with recognizing things as they are...especially when they are this good! Don, and the moderators do a wonderful job at keeping this site a very enjoyable one...I check others (because of the make of my bike) but none even come close to VentureRider!!!!
  6. As far as what you are going to do...if you are like us, you will be so busy, you will wonder how you got everything done when you were working!
  7. can't ride over because of the recent surgery, but might cage it. Depends on how tomorrow's meeting goes with the veterinarian for our dog...needs surgery. If we don't make it...have a great time (as I know you will)!
  8. We tried it a while back, but we have to have satellite internet and there was a very bothering and very long delay...we ended up talking over the person we were trying to talk with...did not work for us.
  9. Okay, I bought the Aluma MC10 to haul the Wing to distant lands. I now need the best wheel chock to put on it and protect my bike. Which one is the best? I saw a posting or ad some time ago that discussed a chock that locks the wheel securely so you just have to use straps to keep the bike from moving sideways...can't seem to find it again...not even sure if it is the best anyway. Appreciate any help you can provide.
  10. I will join the chorus of expressing extreme joy at the news of how well Ponch is doing! Keep up the good work!
  11. Hey Perry...probably a couple of months...when it starts warming again, I should be okay.
  12. Regardless of your ride...this IS the bike forum to be a part of...it's the best! BTW nice ride you have there! Continue to enjoy...and stay with this site!
  13. ...carpal and tendon work on one hand and and injections on the other hand. Life as a young athlete, military, and getting old...one out of three bites! I will leave the one up to you.
  14. Thoughts and prayers for your father's complete recovery and your strength to get you all through this.
  15. Thank you for the info, but the MC10 is for trailering the bike...I should have added that. sorry bout that.
  16. I'm looking for an Aluma MC10 trailer for trailering the bike...appreciate you letting me know if you know of one. Thanks in advance.
  17. Today marks my 32nd year of being lucky enough to be married to my lovely wife (and navigator), Belinda. Don't know how she has put up with me this long (I am TRULY a work in progress!)...but I sure hope she will stick with me at least another 32 so we can continue in the journey!
  18. Congratulations on your new ride. You will not be sorry, the Wing is a great bike and the numbers of Wing riders on this site are growing leaps and bounds. After all the ribbing and joking, you will continue to find VentureRider members a class-act, and we are accepted...regardless of the decals on the bike.
  19. Just wondering which threads" - have the most viewings? - have the most replies? - have lasted the longest time?
  20. Our sincere condolences at the loss of your daughter...to lose a child is a terrible thing. Prayers for her...and prayer for your strength to see you through this ordeal. God bless.
  21. It is so gratifying to read all the good stuff about Ponch...especially the reports on his condition. Thanks, you guys, for keeping us posted...very good news, indeed.
  22. to Margaret, you, and the family...that agent orange turned out to be some bad stuff!
