Great question...I was wondering too, what is the minimum size of enclosed trailer you would need for an RSV.

2nd gen tech questions. Help!
Aimhigh replied to Busta's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I had the Baron bar and riser installed by the dealer. They did not charge me to replace the cables, so I can only surmise that the cables either reached as is or were rerouted. -
Very impressive. I used to work on the super connie, as well as the C-124 and other such aircraft. It's a downer to see the great planes disappear...even sadder to see the airlines go down in flames, too. Tough times for all.

Personally I would have liked to be able to view the postings. I don't need anyone to censor what I can and cannot see...there are tools on this site that allow you to block those postings (or posters) that you do not want to see. I would kind of like to know where others are coming from...who knows, they may make a point that might influence my thinking. I have enjoyed this site, and I understand that with over 5000 members, we are not all going to agree. We all are adults, though, and if we cannot agree to disagree...well, perhaps that explains a lot about where we are and why conditions in the world are as they are. I spent 28 years of my life protecting the right of Americans to express their opinion...while I did not always agree with what was being said, I did recognize the right to express the opinion. After all, we do have the right to be as stupid as we want. Again, I realize this site is controlled by those appointed to do so...but as I said, we have the tools as individuals to read or not read various postings. To me, this is much like the government telling us that they know what is best for us...so, check your brains at the door.

Eric, sorry to hear about your accident...we all think it will happen to the other guy, don't we? It's good your daughter was unhurt as I'm sure that would have been much more painful than your broken bones. Heal quick and get back out there. My best to you. Jim T

Having just made a round trip from San Antonio to Springfield IL I find that I definitely need something to make the rear portion of my anatomy cooler. Based on comments about the beads, I am having second thoughts about them and am leaning to the sheepskins. It seems that these would be quite warm...especially the black ones...but I bow to your experiences and knowledge. Jim T

are these better than the beads?

Your words are right on...this is a great site with a lot of great people that are always eager to help. I don't know if you noticed, or not, but nobody is concerned that you ride something other than a Yamaha. Keep visiting...you won't be sorry you did. Jim T:welcome1:

I just retired from full-time work and will leave San Antonio TX for Springfield IL...round trip of about 2500 miles. My question...how many miles can/should I REALISTICALLY plan on covering in a day? I've never taken a long trip on the RSV. I did ride from St. Louis to Wichita Falls TX back in 1977 on a Honda 450...but I was much younger then. I know many of you can ride a thousand miles in one day...I am 62 and I need to plan for what I really should try to cover. Thanks in advance for any input. Jim T
