of those wishing you well and relief that the two of you are okay. Everytime something like this happens, I am amazed (not surprised, but amazed) at the number of folks offering their well wishes and asking what can they do to help (to wit; Don suggesting he pick you guys up and offering their abode for your recovery)...just a wonderful site to be a part of!

Gary, the narrative says that there is a pocket for the speakers...why did you have to cut out for them?

I need to get a new helmet...really wanted to get the Shark Evoline, but cannot find anyone in the area that sells them...so I'm looking at the IS-33. Wondered if anyone uses this helmet and can offer any pros and cons. Thank you.

Put distance between yourself and whatever is causing the confrontation...it is the best way. You are not retreating...you are advancing toward the rear! It's just not worth it...you can be right...DEAD right...and then who wins?

We live in San Antonio and are trying to find somewhere that sells the Shark Evoline Helmet...we cannot find anywhere in this city, and a google search says the closest dealer is in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have to believe that there is somewhere closer to us...appreciate if anyone can help us find them.

Belinda and I join you all in expressing sorrow at the loss of our friend, Don. We were fortunate to be around Don on only three occasions, but you did not have to be around him for too long to realize what a fine person he was. He will be missed by all that knew him. God bless and prayers for the family to help them through this difficult time.

We have never been to Maine until this trip...even with the weather, we have enjoyed it. Wish we had the bike...the Acadia Park would be a great place to ride, as well as the coastal Rte 1A (visiting the light houses). Have been disappointed with the lobster, though...guess we haven't found the right place). Hope you have a great visit, I believe you will.

I just replaced one that I got over 14,000 miles on...only reason I changed it when I did was for a pending long trip.

Spending the week in Galveston...meeting up today with Perry and Molly ( of VR fame) for lunch. Been a while since we've seen them, and we are looking forward to the visit. Sure have met a lot of really good, nay, great, people on this site.

for a fully and speedy recovery. Always hate to hear about a rider down...only met Art at the Big Bend trip a couple of years ago...he seems to be a stand up guy. Fingers crossed for the recovery.
