Can't seem to find the tubes that support the lid of the trailer while open. Any ideas where to look. Thanks in advance. the ones I have are 18" overall, with 10" of that the black tube.

Do we have lift off?

I am 64 yrs old and 5'7" tall (short?)...you have to remain aware of the lean of the bike when going slow, or especially when stopped...this is multiplied when riding two-up

Couldn't find any other threads discussing this...how do you secure your m/c-pulled trailer when you stop overnight? Do you chain it to the bike or a tree or something like that?

Appreciate the input...guess I will take it on...Don, thanks for the headsup on the wiring harness.

What is the best place to get the hitch and wiring harness? Is there a "best" hitch? Saw the postings on the wiring...reluctant to take it on...should I be?

Good to hear as I have never pulled a trailer with a bike.

Thanks for all the advice...I saw the trailer...it is in pretty good shape...will be picking it up tomorrow...repack the bearings, one small area of fiberglass repair and it should be ready to go (once I get a trailer hitch for the bike). I will most likely have it painted to match the bike (blue/black)

Agree...do these trailers have to be registered and licensed? I'm thinking the tires should be readily available at HF (among other places) (?)

Going to look at an older trailer. Seller says it has been in the garage for the past ten years and is in very good shape. He is asking $500. Hope it's a good one and doesn't require much fixing. The website says a new one goes for at least $1500.

I may have to reconsider the Hannigan trike conversiion and go this route instead. The wife doesn't think she would feel comfortable/safe in a sidecar...that is at least one of the obstacles.

This will probably end up being a "duh" on my part but...I installed the cable to use with a Zumo 660. Everything appears to be working okay, except the music from the GPS...I can hear it, but it is very, very weak...unusable actually. any ideas?

There is a growing concern about Snopes.com anyway...the "experts" at the site are no more than you or me...they do "research" (mostly on the internet) and then post their "professional" take on what they have found...their take (IMHO) has a liberal slant to it as well.
