Thinking about getting a trailer to haul the '07 RSV on longer trips...in the next couple of years I plan to have it triked it out (the bike...not the trailer) with the Hannigan kit. I, therefore want to get a trailer for now...and after it makes the change to trike. I would appreciate knowing the overall length and width of the Hannigan that some of you have done. Thanks in advance for any info.

I think you are going to find that all of the 2nd gens' speedometers are off by 4 - 7 mph.

I want to replace my trailer (pulled by cycle) lights with led-type of lights. i was hoping to be able to simply take the light cover off, remove the old light, and wire in the new led lights. could it possibly be this simple, or am i dreaming? if it is possible, does anyone know where to purchase the led lights?

Does anyone know how to turn off the media player on this device? I have looked everywhere and tried everything I can think of, but once the player is turned on...it stays on. I can mute it...no problem there, but I want to stop it. Appreciate any help.

It is interesting that the pressure on the trunk luggage rack doesn't cause any problems. I thought the max pressure was like 10 lbs.?

I have an '07 blue/black, too...and in a few years I will have it converted using the Hannigan kit..it is great to see what the bike will look like...and it looks fantastic. Thanks, again.

That's what I was thinking I'd be looking to occur. Thanks for the info...yep, I'm an Illinois boy originally...but you could not pay me to move back there. If I weren't visiting my folks or traveling thru to somewhere else, I see no reason to go there anymore.

Nashville is quite a bit out of the way...Memphis is more in line with the route back...West Memphis that is. I will surely watch out for the deer...don't plan on any night traveling, but I know they like to move morning and evening.

Thanks much, Brad. I have been watching the temperatures...gets close to the 70's recently...pretty cool in the am, though. Guess I will freeze my butt in the morning and, hopefully, have a nice afternoon ride.

Planning on riding the bike to Illinois next week (14 - 22). Hoping the weather will hold...being a Texan, not really use to cold weather (yeah, I know...pantywaste). Going through Oklahoma and Missiouri on the way up...Arkansas on the way back. If you see a blue and black...flash your lights!

I have a two year old HP Photosmart R847 in that price range...I'm sure it has been updated by now. It takes great photos (8mega pixels) and the videos are very good, too.

As soon as the five year warranty is up we plan to have the Hannigan kit put on our '07. From what I have seen it is the best kit...hinging on other's comments, of course. Good luck in your decision.

I, personally would stick with one of the states that have no state income tax: Alaska, Florida, S. Dakota, Texas, Nevada, Washington, Wyoming. Just can't giving money away...and our taxes are going to increase significantly anyway next year...not being political...just stating fact.

I had the same thing happen...the front tire stem, which was all rubber, rotted and snapped off. I had it replaced with a metal one with an angle, similar to the rear tire.
