I just purchased a new Carbtune Pro from California Sport Touring for $99.00, plus shipping. I tried to find a good used one but was not lucky enough to find one. Any how...... I would once again like to thank the club members for the wonderful posts on how to use the Carbtune. In particular I would like to thank ROCKY your information was simple, easy to understand, and easier to do. My 1989 Venture Royale runs like new. Thanks again to all the great members on this site!!!!!! Steve

I recently had an E1 code pop up on my onboard air compressor computer screen. I went over the old threads and read them. I wanted to thank FREEBIRD for the detailed explanation. AND IT WORKED!!!! I wound up pulling the connector off and cleaning the terminals with contact spray. Still no success. Then I turned the connector in a clockwise manner, BAM. It worked perfectly. THANKS MUCH, THIS SITE IS AWESOME, Steve

I was wondering if the computer for the air suspension worked and was in good condition. If so how much did you want for it. Thanks in advance, Steve:detective:

I really do appreciate all of the ideas to clean my engine. I had the day off from work, and I wanted to get it done yesterday. So I wound up calling Yamaha Cycle Craft in Woodstock, Il. They were very helpfull. They recommended a product that they use on all the bikes that get traded in, they said it worked great without damaging the finish on the bike. It is called S100 Total Cycle Cleaner, is the product I used. It was $14.00 for a quart spray bottle. It did work great, but I do have to say it smelled familiar, after reading my responses today, I believe it did smell like Simple Green, That is only an opinion. Thanks to all who replied, Steve

Would anyone know a good way to clean an engine without damaging the finish on the aluminum. Which I personally have done in the past. I have an '89 Venture Royale which can use a good cleaning. Thanks in advance, Steve

Squidley, Thanks for the invite on Saturday, However I have to work. I am sure I will be able to make another ride. I just wanted to clear up that I purchased my "89 Venture from Alan, who goes by the forum name of 'wkboard' Thanks, Steve -
Hi, I am fairly new to the Venture Rider Org.. Last week I purchased a 1989 Venture Royale. But before I did, I had a post on this site asking for advice on what to look for in a Venture. I cannot believe the help I had received. I really appreciate it. I purchased the bike from Allan, who has kept the bike in really nice shape. He has added alot of nice accessories to it. Besides the oil change I have just done. The bike is just ready to ride. I am finally starting to get used to the weight of the bike, after a couple of tanks of gas. Thanks again and I'm sure I'll have alot of questions as I am new to the Yamaha Venture. Steve:cool10:
