Sorry no pictures for the :cop:but I have to say... Darn good burgers tonight. Hey Mr Cowpuc, I will gladly trade you a dozen secret Family Recipe burgers for a dozen quarter-pound hot dogs. Just a thought.

You weren't kidding about that blood trail. It was definitely impossible to miss. I can't claim that shot as skill though. I am also right-handed and I had heard something off to my right side and was poised ready to shoot in that direction. I heard something off to my left and just happened to catch her come over the rise out of the corner of my left eye. I swivelled, lined her up and shot in the matter of two Heartbeats. My family hunts for the meat so I'm not going to turn down an average sized anything that happens to come along. We finished butchering and grinding today. Got 19 and 1/2 lb of ground venison out of her plus all the good steaks. Going to make our secret Family Recipe venison burgers tonight!

Rain... No hunting this morning:headache:

1 of 3 in the freezer! Got her at 28.3 yards. Average sized doe. Already grilled up one of the back straps. Unfortunately the only rack I saw today was the one my wife occasionally lets me play with...:duck:She (the deer) came over the rise and I managed to get the shot off just as she winded me. Missed the heart and lungs. Clipped the main artery and she dropped about 50 yards out from blood loss. This is the monster I got last year. 225lbs gutted. He had the biggest body on any deer I have ever seen. 10 point.

Got 3 tags (my area opened up for an extra antlerless this year!) and only room in the freezer for 2. Guess I will have to eat one right away... Wish me luck. Stay safe out there all my fellow hunters.

Now that is pure genius at work! :clap2: One modification. Puc spends the afternoon eating fresh tamales and many other yummies and leaves with a :fatsmiley:and a bunch of frozen tamales for home. -

That's 3 miles from my house. Just in case anybody needs me to pick something up for them. -
Would NEVER dream of plugging those snow shooters! However, I think you might be on to something with that flavoring idea:scratchchin:

Finally made it home. Traffic was significantly worse than expected. Sorry we couldn't stay any longer than we did but glad we got to meet. Now remember that the doc ordered that you take all of your medicine and even lick the bowl clean. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you so we can see you on the road again soon.

What's wrong with the cold???? Next you're going to tell me you don't like snow and that's just crazy.

Hook up a jump pack and start the car. Throw a volt meter on the battery terminals and test the voltage while running. Anything less than 13.5 and you have a bad alternator. You may have frigged up the PCM with the low voltage and it may need to be reflashed (dealership only for newer cars). Sounds like the bearing in the alternator pulley went bad. Good luck.

Rear Tire Safe or not.

Around the block at 5mph to test the engine. That's what the professionals call a bad tire. -
I have told my wife several times that the "I don't care" response will result in me doing it my way even if she doesn't like the results. So far I'm about 50/50 on her being mad about it.

They are the end of the ribeye. They were labeled as rib end roast. They were delicious.

I asked my wife what she wanted me to pick up for the grill. She said she didn't care so I got these. One is 44oz and the other 40oz. She was mad .

One of the best places to get a hot fudge sunday.

We have a place out here by us called Frogs. They have "The Belly Buster." It's a cone or dish that they fill so that when you are holding it at your waste, you can lick the top of it. I tried it once. Couldn't even come close to finishing. https://m.facebook.com/FroggsIceCream/ There is always a really long line to get in.

So I got home from work and my wife says to me "Honey, I got a sitter for the kids. Lets go for a ride." She isn't really into riding much so this is a rare treat that she wants to hop on for a few miles. I'm all excited about spending a few quality hours chasing around that elusive front tire with my bride. I should have known... We pull out and not a half mile later she says "Honey, I'm a little hungry. Can we stop for dinner first and ride after? I really want to ride with you I just need a little something in my stomach." I mentioned a few close by fast food places and she dropped the hint that she just happened to have a coupon for Hu-Hot for a buy one get one dinner. Hummmmm. So I take the hint and 7 miles later we are stuffing our faces. An hour and a half later I am hitting the start button and she says "I could really go for a coffee. You know, from that good little bistro up the road." Less than a mile later we are sipping our dark roast while walking in the park across the street because, as she says, its not really safe to ride with hot coffee. At this point I've figured that this isn't exactly the type of ride I was hoping for. This was confremed an hour later when she says in her sweetest voice "You know, it's starting to get a little late and the deer are about to be out and I would hate to risk running into one of those and messing up your pretty bike." Back home we go... A little under 16 miles total for our "ride". We hop off and she tells me that she really liked our ride and we should do it more often. I have to admit she got me. We didn't get the miles I was hoping for but it was still time well spent.

I learned on an old T-100. My dad about pulled his hair out the first time I tried. He got rid of it after that and all my brothers learned on an automatic. I'm the only one at my work who can drive a stick and I prefer them. I've owned several.

Be safe out there! Swing by my place on your way back. You can pick up some tamales for the trip around the puddle. -
Yup... Pea size. Glad I was wearing my helmet. Not a new discovery, just sharing my my feels like getting beat up by thousands of tiny little angry animated lawn gnomes pain.
