I would contact the safety office.... as a retiree, you are allowed to use the MWR facilities, the commissary, and you have to get to personnel to update your ID card, etc.... they should allow retirees to attend!!!!!!!! and not just on a space available basis!!!!!!!!!!! I will be taking the Experienced rider course later this month, and I think I will be the only student....... Two instructors and just one student!!!!!

I would like to take a true basic motorcop course. I know that I can improve my bike handling skills! Please report back after taking the course!!!!!

It looks OK, but I wonder how it compares to the MSF courses??? The US Military requires the MSF course to be able to ride on any military installation, so they offer it for FREE to active duty, retirees, contractors, Government employed civilians, reservist!!!!!! (you provide your own bike) No, the MSF doesn't offer the longer course.....but at $2,500 it had better be GREAT!!!!!!!

Think I found a Good Oil Filter
KiteSquid replied to dragerman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The EaOM102 is the taller version of the EaOM103. Be advised that is has a slightly stronger By-Pass Valve. rated at 8-11 LBS while the EaOM103 is reated at 8 LBS. That informaion is from page 66 of THIS document Also please note how the photo on the top right of the front page is a man riding a street bike without a helmet..... I wonder how that photo got past their lawyers...... -
Thanks for the photo!!!! I gotta get a LED replacement for the stock brake light.....

Have you checked out the EaO102 from Amsoil. they ship to Canada, I assume from a Canadian warehouse so no import taxes, but please check before ordering.... IMHO it is the BEST filter on the market. it is not cheep, nor is it inexpensive... -
So what did it cost?

Front fender chrome.
KiteSquid replied to MrRadi8's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Can you post a photo? Maybe the stock "hood ornamant" or what I joking call a tow hook.... might be improperly installed???? I dont have a camera handy, but page D9 of the parts manual shows how it is susposed to be assembled.... the forward hole for part 12 is about 2.5" up from the Leading Edge (LE) of the fender. There is a pin on the back of part 3 that goes thru a hole about 1/2" up from the LE of the fender I hope this helps. -

KiteSquid replied to a1bummer's topic in Poor Man Tips and Fixes
