Transmission????? IF you have enough torque, you need fewer gears..... look at the boss hoss for ideas...
  11. BTW it should be in the 2010 RSV as that is when the next tier of EPA emissions standards hit for motorcycles.... More info is available from the EPA if you click HERE and HERE
  12. Is that oil squirting out of a broken fork, or is it some other liquid????
  13. And the previous robbery, Bikers are one thing, but a bunch of unhappy Bingo players is MUCH WORSE!!!!!!
  14. IMHO, There is no such thing as warning shots or shooting to disable (wound)... If you pull out your gun, you mean to shoot, therefore you mean to kill!!!!!
  15. I went from the hot bus. To find it, just follow the red wire from the battery to its end.... I prefer to have as few connections to the battery as possiable. Install a fuse holder and run to the relay...
  16. I have a favorite magazine to read the latest tips and tricks for maintaining and modifying my RSV. The writers are quite interested in helping the RSV rider and most have very enjoyable writing style. The photos are all in color and very glossy!!!! A great want adds section and many pointers to save $ on parts and accessories purchases. Most of the modifications are tested my several writers so you get varied points of view on all of them. Another point is the inexpensive price for a subscription. You don't have to give up your Cappuccino to pay for it!!!!! Click HERE to subscribe. After you read it, please post here on weather it is a good read!!!!!!
  17. Disregard my post, it is in the lower fairign...
  18. One factory horn is INSIDE the upper fairing. You cant see it unless you use an allen wrench to split the fairing. One factory horn is just above the back end of the right hand side drivers foot board.
  19. I would think that there would be substantial sound deadening by mounting it in the fairing, but if you put two Stable Nautilus (also sold as the Wolo Bad Boy) hons on the RSV, inside the fairing would be a great place for the second one... I mounted my first one using Carbonone's bracket. I have not yet purchased a second horn...
  20. I'm with kit on this.... Just get most of the old liquid out.
  21. That is funny!!!!!! I'm forwarding to my retired Navy recruiter buddy!!!!!
  22. Kinda funny that this fourm is for people who have Japanese motorcycles....
  23. Sure there are!!!!! But they only come in one horse power models:rotf:
  24. I cannot find a 1257 bulb on the interent. do you have a URL?
  25. I would check in the following order Bulbs fuses Connectors Flasher unit (the most expensive part...) Wires (save it for last as it is the least likely suspect) Down load the factory service manual from the tech section!!!!!!!
