Do you have a URL to some plans for this sensitive manometer?

If you are talking about their manual tire changer with the motorcycle attachment, I have one but have never used it. I probably will someday but as cheap as the Honda dealer hear will install them, I just haven't done so. It is pretty heavy and I think the price of shipping it from one member to another would make it impractical to do. I was referring to a local bike club that normaly rides together, not an Internet based group of riders. I agree that it would be too expensive to ship around the country. I may purchase one, someday, if no local rider has one.

I hear that Harbor Freight sells a good portable tire changer with Motorcycle tire attachment, but you have to turn some wrenches. It would be a great tool for a motorcycle club to purchase

I'm just speculating... BUT Yamaha will HAVE to meet the new EPA second tier standards that take effect in 2010. the change is that HC+NOx (g/km) emissions drops from the current level of 1.4 to 0.8. To meet this, the RSV will probably need a catalytic converter, and therefor fuel injection and most likely variable valve timing which will give us more power and better fuel economy, of coure you would actually have to buy a new bike.

I am looking forward to the 3rd Gen RSV!!!!!!!!

Slip some Sorbithane insoles in whateaver boot you buy. They are GREAT!!! I used them in my Navy Boonockers on the metal decks onboard ship and LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is slick!!!!! paint it or powder coat it if you care, but I would problly leave it how it is!!!!!

You need to keep the steam pressure above 30 PSIG or the plastic will do what you described. The Union Pacific Rail Road used to hook the engines in teh roundhouse up to "hotel service" steam from a centeral boiler. I hope this helps.

I see the thumbnails, but not the embedded photos....

That JC Whiteny link looks like the repacement 7" headlamp in the 2nd gen RSV with a bulb kicked in for free!!!!!!!!!!! It looks like a good deal. However it does not say much about the bulb. I put in Piaa Intense White bulbs in my stock lamp and am quite happy!!!!!!!!! I would buy the JC Whitney part if I broke my factory lamp.

$229 is a lot of coin for a chrome bracket and some bent plastic..... but if they work, they might be worth it.

The problem with the photos is they are hosted at a site that you must be logged into to see... -
I would recommend that you NOT put a HID in a standard lamp housing. If you can find a HID with a 7" reflector I might try it, but the price would probably be quite prohibitive. I put a PIAA’s Intense White bulb in the factory housing and am quite happy, and my wallet is a lot thicker than if I bought a HID back fit kit.

Ridding along about 70 MPH and hit a dragon fly. it hit my right hand on the knuckles... the next thing I knew, my hand was up by my ear, and it felt like I slugged a steel pipe!!!! YOW that hurt!!!!!! Another time I was crusing on the highway about 5 seconds behind a 2 ton stake sided truck...... a piece of sheet steel bout 1 foot square, came off the truck. All I could do is hug the tank and pray!!!!!! Thankfully that is one thing that went over my head!!
