And again, I am not connected with RLAP, I just want my fellow bikers to have a long and healthy life on two wheels and anyway that we all can learn to ride safely is a good thing!!!!!! BTW, if you are tired of waiting, or would like to purchase your own copy please click HERE to order and be sure to ask for your Venture Rider Forum member discount. IIRC it saves you $5. They look like any other 11 LED 15 inch Stop/tail/turn lamp from a semi trailer. You can go to r-mark's page on Blogspot by clicking HERE and see LOTS of photos of them installed.

I would have to take a durometer reading of the front and rear tire before I would think about swapping them front to rear. MOST of your braking happens with the front tire....... so it needs to be grippy. But too soft of a compound will equate to faster tire wear. It is a trade-off, but be informed. The place you do NOT want to find out if you don't have enough grip is on the streets!!!!!!!!!

Did you contact the manufacturer and ask about wet clutch compatibility?

Sure you can come to over to MD..... it's not that far from OH and you don't need a passport. Oh you meant Maintenance Day, not Maryland. To quote Roseanne Roseannadanna Never mind. Seriously, THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE and I am sorry you will not be able to attend maintance day.

On the rear, they put in "leveling Links" you will have to replace these parts. If you look in the parts manual on page E1 look at part #18 called ARM 1 Yamaha part number 4XY-2217M-00-00 You will have to buy two of them. and maybe the bolts and washers that came on the bike, as the "Leveling Links" come with some that might be longer or shorter..... OR contact the person you bought it from to see if they still have the parts laying around, or ask around the forum to see if anybody has a pair they took off when they installed "Leveling Links" on their bikes. Leveling links are sold HERE so you can see the parts, and download the installation instructions (link at the bottom of that page) so you can bring your bike back to stock. On the front of the bike, check to see if the tops of the fork tubes are level with the top of the triple tree clamp. the tops of the fork tubes are were the Schneider valves are for airing up the forks. There are instructions here on the forum of how to lower the front end so you can reverse the procedure.

There is a lot of information here on the forum for using a 15 inch stop/tail/turn light from semi trailers.

Not all RSVs have a "clutch whine" Those that do, some are quieter than others. A few are unbearable, to the point of getting Yamaha to attempt to correct the noise. Sometimes the fix works, sometimes it just changes the noise. My RSV does not have the "clutch whine" Of those I have read about 99.99999% of them were fixable. If you are concerned, test ride before you buy. I bought my RSV new from the dealer with out test ridding it and am 100% happy with it!!!!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOOO what a GREAT bike!!!!!!!

I can buy a lot of 2 by 12s for that price.... OUCH is right!!!!!!! What kind of enclosed trailer can I get for $2595.00?????????

3M acrylic foam tapes work GREAT!!!!! Look at your local auto parts store, automotive paint store, or ask at your local auto painter. If they have several options, get the thinnest they have. Clean both surfaces to give the adhesive a fighting chance. BTW the adhesives in the 3M products don't like to stick to silicone, so remove any wax you might have applied to the tank.

Was that because your saddle bags would clear the tennis ball halves on the inside of the corner but the cones were too tall to clear, or that your fender was hitting the cones on the outside of the corner Good idea to try to make it tighter, as my owners manual on page 9-1 says: That is just under 11 feet 6 inches......... now THERE is a U-Turn!!!!!!!! BTW I am not under 15 feet myself.... yet.... but with posts like yours, I will be motivated to work on it!!!! THANKS for your comments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I already have one of those, but I also would like to have light, higher on the bike, like the spoiler, so the second car back has a chance to see my brake light. I prefer the styling of the Yamaha spoiler, but the light is not bright enough for me. I like the 15" light bars, but to mount one on the trunk lid, I would have to either first put on a trunk rack and secure the light to it (IMHO high on function but low on form points) or would have to custom injection mold or machine a mount to fit the curvature of the trunk. I am REALLY excited about what WaltH is brewing up right now!!!!!! Of course it will be the highest priced option, but will look the best, IMHO.

OOOOHHHH YEH!!!!!!!! Let us know how it goes, and post a step by step what you did!!!!
