If the suspension geometry does not change due to the increased mass, no, the bike will not have to be leaned more or less, but if it does change, then the answer is maybe.... it might have to be leaned more or less to make the same radius turn at the same speed.

I have the INTENSE WHITE bulbs and LOVE THEM!!!!! -
For that price, I'll just spend a few dollars more and get a GPS with a built in MP3 Player.....

I believe that Yamaha is of the old Japanese school of make it right the first time, and don't do incremental updates..... Just complete model replacement.....

Why not go to Rotella T6 full Synthetic???? Click HERE to go to Shell's website. BTW Shell Rotella T6 is now JASCO MA certified!!!!!!!!! so you can use it in your bike and meet all warranty requirements.

It looks OK, but I don't think the sound quality will be the best, but on a bike with wind and machine sounds it should be OK. I would say buy it.... I use a GPS with a built in MP3 player, so I can listen to music and have it interrupted by voice prompts for upcoming turns........Keeps me on track...

The float charger is a good deal too, but DO NOT USE IT ON AGM BATTERIES like the stock battery in the 2nd Gen RSV!!!!!!!!!! I use one on my riding lawn mower and one on my '50 H-D FL I also bought one of the Motorcycle stand/wheel chock to work on my bike in the garage and possibly to bolt into a trailer for bike transport..... I have yet to assemble it, so I hope it works well....... the price was right.

Great refresher!!!!! Made me think... BTW on my 1950 H-D FL some of the controls are in different places, from the factory. Front brake is on the left hand, along with the ignition timing. Right grip is throttle, Shifter is on the left side of the fuel tank, so you have to take your left hand off the grip and therefore no front brake... First gear is froward and Neutral, second, third and forth is to the rear. Right foot is brake, and starter. Left foot is clutch. I think that the MSF courses are written for bikes built recently.

I don't trust the local stealership, but the dealer I bought my bike from I do trust, too bad it is 100 miles away...... I do 99.99999% of my own wrenching, It is relaxing to know the bolts are torqued properly etc.....

According to my local newspaper nobody was hurt nor was there any reported vehicle damages.... LUCKY.... I don't know if anyone was hurt with loud pipes.

I live in Virginia and USAA does not cover Motorcycles here either. They transferred me to Progressive and got a GREAT rate. BTW I compared it with going with Progressive directly and the USAA connection got a much lower rate.....

Ride Like a Pro.. on a Venture?
KiteSquid replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Not my bike. It works well. Rember it is rear brake. NEVER front brake a parking lot speeds. -
You can use a lever and fulcrum to divide the mass going to the scale.

1981 Kawazaki KZ1100D. This was my first bike, not just first street bike....... and for her time, she was a ROCKET SHIP!!!!!! I miss that bike. http://www.cyclechaos.com/wiki/images/9/90/1982-kawasaki-kz1100-d1.jpg image harvested from the Internet I bought it used for $950, rode it for about 4 years and sold it for $1,000 and the whole time I owned it, I never washed it.

What year of bike do you have? IIRC you can go to Starmotorcycles.com and register. You then have access to a model year specific owners manual, however I have not tried to print the one I downloaded on my account, as I have the printed one on the bike. I just use the electronic one for refrence.....

Ride Like a Pro.. on a Venture?
KiteSquid replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
You can do everything on the Ride Like a Pro videos on most any bike including the RSV IF you practice them. I would not do it on a bike that has been raked or extended an any manner... I have done it once...... rode a circle...... with a 15 foot radius........... and the bike had more to give me, but my pucker factor was high. I NEED TO GET OVER THIS. Click HERE for more info on how tight a turn a stock RSV should be able to make. BTW I am still working up the nerve to do 12 feet... -
Maybe he is looking for the balancing point on the frame..... Swifty, Why do you need this information?

Who uses Speedbleeders. Do they work well?
KiteSquid replied to Midnight's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I put them in my Dad's car and pickup truck and it made flushing the systems easy. I have not tried them on my RSV yet..... -
But then the hollow part is down instead of up........

I have not seen anything that mounts permanently to the end of the kick stand. I am going to cut a plastic cutting board to about 4x4 inches and drill a hole in it to tie a line. The other end of the line will have a "remove before flight" tag from an airplane and will loop over the left hand rear view mirror, so I don't leave it behind. BUT this looks kind cool http://www.bobscycle.com/prodimg/582082.JPG click-able image I do note that it is a right foot, and I think it should be a left foot......
