Spark plugs. Changed the rear 2 yesterday without removing the tank. Disappointed that I couldn't get my spark plug socket to work, dug out the factory tool kit. Yammi spark plug tool, 17mm socket to go over end of factory tool, swivel and ratchet. Now if the front two were that easy. Looks like the tank is coming off to get these two. 09RSV

I have the two piece baggershield and ride with the top clear piece up 95% of the time. I cut 1.5" off the top of the clear so I can look over it. I'm 6'2" and the top was right in my line of sight before I cut it. In the rain I get some on my visor, but most over top. Less buffeting for me and my wife. Since I leave the top up, I'm going to add a vent next week to get some air flow behind the windshield.

I missed most of last season after my shoulder surgery in March. I tore 3 of the 4 rotator cuff muscles. Couldn't ride till mid Oct and didn't try riding 2 up. I had trouble with strength in push/pull movements. Another month here till riding season starts, cant wait. Good luck in your rehab.

riv.ca Check to make sure it is on the list of bikes you can import, title and paperwork at border at least 72 hrs before you arrive(I call ahead and make sure it's there). I prefer the smaller BC border crossings over Sweetgrass. Nice purchase.😎 -

Sat on mine again today and wished I was riding. Shoulder surgery has me sitting and wishing till at least the end of Sept. Missing riding on these beautiful days, hopefully the snow holds off till Nov so I can log some serious miles in Oct. I've almost washed and waxed it as much as I can😎

I would be interested if I'm off.

Good to see it was just rain up there, can turn to snow anytime in the summer. Hiway 93 from Lake Louise to Jasper is a favorite ride of mine, Usually go in June or Sept to avoid the motorhomes.

What's a desktop?😁😁 QUOTE=Flyinfool;1040618]It is in the top bar right about in the middle, it is the tab labeled "VR Chat". just click that and it will open a new window for the chat room. If you go to the very bottom of any page you can see who all is in chat at the moment that opened the page you are on. As mentioned above, someone has to be first to just open chat and wait for someone else to join in. Most phones and many tablets have difficulty with chat, it does work best from a laptop or desktop computer. Phones and tablets will run chat, but the window to type in and read responses is only big enough for a couple of words. It is just very annoying on a small screen.

Covering bike when hauling it on a trailer question.
Uturn 780 replied to Albertastar's topic in Watering Hole
Years ago when snowmobile covers were cheap, we would put a flannel sheet on first, then the cover. Most bike covers are not designed for trailering. I have seen a couple Goldwings behind motorhomes with tight fitting covers, so there must be some out there. -

I have the Butler Seat mod done to my drivers seat. If your down this way you can try it out. I have a lower tinted(8" I think) I took off mine that I won't be using again. It is the Commander 2's I put on. -

Welcome to the forum. Where did you pick up your bike? Very few for sale here in Alberta. The previous owner of my bike pulled the baffles on the muffler and it is louder than I would like. I get a small amount of popping on deceleration. I put Michelins on mine 12000km ago and really like them. The 130 front tire is night and day difference over stock tire. It doesn't seem to grab the tar strips here in AB like the old tire did. Big improvement to low speed handling too. About 60% left on rear tire after 12,000, at least half of that two up. Run a bunch of seafoam through it to clean up fuel system(I put 1/4 Can every other fill). What do you have on for a windshield, I have a couple extras. Currently have the tall Baggershield on it. -
Who in Canada has motorcycle insurance they're happy with?
Uturn 780 replied to Semi-retired's topic in Watering Hole
TD Insurance. $500/yr. 1 million liability, comprehensive with all perils and collision. $250 deductible. I get a multi vehicle discount for having all vehicles with them. -
Very sad news.

550W and 82000lm per bulb with 18 chips per bulb. That's 30W per LED chip. Big typo or too good to be true!!

I have about 50+ of these left from a big order. I can mail them in Canada @10 for C$5.00. I haven't looked into USA mail cost, but can probably do it at US$5.00. (Canada Post is expensive to US). Pm me if you would like some.

Windshield Questions....
Uturn 780 replied to BratmanXj's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The only downside of installing the vent is it will remove the ability to drop the upper section. Maybe it will fit in one of the saddle bags for around town commutes. I'll have to check😎 -
Windshield Questions....
Uturn 780 replied to BratmanXj's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I have the tallest Baggersheild and I wish it had a vent. I have a long back and could just look over the top with it in the tall position(16"). With the top section down(10") there was a lot of wind buffering for both the wife and I. I cut about 1.5" off the clear section so the top of the windshield wasn't in my vision. Very little wind buffering solo or two up. I am going to cut in a Wing vent as I would like to adjust airflow behind shield on hot and rainy days. -
Item Description says 3 piece set. Great price.

I ordered a big lot of these. Probably have 50 left. Drill 1/2" hole in can and insert. I glued mine to be sure.

Hi Dale. I'm just east of Sherwood Park. There's a few ventures out my way, but not many!! I work shift work and always enjoy afternoon rides around the city for a beer. Redwater, Barrhead, Sunnybrook, etc.
