RSV Front Tire Size Recap
Missionary Rider replied to V7Goose's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Goose, I read your previous thread with great interest. The links are here and they plus Avons in stock sizes will go on as soon as I get back from five weeks in Mexico. Thanks for doing the research and sharing the findings in a very understandable way. Lynn -
Who you callin an old warrior? Just because we still carry a p38! Simple tools work the best.

Welcome to the Natural State. Too bad Brenda and I will be in Mexico while you are here. I'm sure some of the other Arkies will be around though. There are so many things to see and do in Eureka Springs, Branson MO, and Mountain View, you will have trouble deciding. While in Mt. View, check out Blanchard Springs and be sure and make the weekend singing on the square. On Sunday, drop by and see my friends at Flatwoods Baptist Church. Lunch on catfish at Jodie's or Anglers's up Hway 5 just past the junction of Hway 9 (Both places have great catfish). While you're that close and if you lide curves, ride East on Hway 9 toward Melbourne for the crookedest road in Arkansas. As for canoeing/white water rafting, check out this site: http://www.arkansas.com/outdoors/ For Arkansas State Parks, go to: http://www.arkansasstateparks.com/ Other similar sites can be found online for B&Bs (too many to list - just google Arkansas Bed and Breakfasts) BTW, if you've never done Scenic 7 from Harrison to Hot Springs you need to do that while you are in the area. May is a great time to be here. Hope you have a blast! Lynn

Snow in Arkansas in March:confused24: Whodathunkit? Maybe I need to repent for the hard time I've been giving you guys up in the cold country? Naw, it's supposed to be 60 degrees here tomorrow.

Without a doubt, it is "Who let the dogs out!"

Glad you added the disclaimer. We never stopped riding down South. Had a great ride to the AL Meet and Eat though it was a bit chilly for those who didn't dress for it. The almost 500 mile ride back was GREAT! We're not reminiscing. We're riding! Good video, nontheless. Lynn

I agree. It's better with .org and without Motorcycle Club. Good job Don.

I've been making the drive you're talking about for years and I prefer I-65 to Montgomery, I-85 N (yes, North but at that point it runs due West) across Montgomery to Exit 9, Highway 271 to US231 South to Dothan and then I-10 E . . 231 is mostly 4 lane with decent speed limits and only a few small towns. Admittedly, Dothan is a pain but at least there is a so-called bypass. In 30 years of traveling back and forth, this is the fastest route I've found. Safe trip Lynn- 8 replies

What are going to do with the Clear View? I might be interested.

Perhaps this should be a new thread but I presume eveyone interested in pull behind trailers will read the thread anyway due to the subject matter. I just bought the last XL Piggybacker available. The new model will not be available for about a month, will come with LEDs and a nice chrome bumper - all for only $100 more than the old price. I understand that the shape of the shell is also a little more rounded on the top. BTW I have a Harbor Freight trailer that I use to haul my bike and didn't want to put another together to pull behind the bike. I also figure I would have as much in the kit as in the purchase I just made. Call me lazy Lynn

Thought we might ride up one day and see what it's like.

Will leave home at 25 degrees F if the promise is at least 35 during the "heat" of the day. Thank you Mr. Gerbing.

Commuted today with a 40 mile sidetrip thrown in. Since you asked for photos, Saturday we did a PGR ride - Photos below with my 06 RSMV in the background and another with me in the blue and black jacket (extreme right side of photo).

It's 24 degrees right now. Had a great 150 mile ride Friday (38-43 degrees) and a Patriot Guard ride yesterday (50 miles at 33 degrees). Brenda and I planning a 100 mile ride later this AM at about 30 degrees. Wednesday - Friday we plan on riding to North Alabama and back (700 miles). The forecast is for highs in the low 40's. Thank you Mr. Gerbing! Lynn

At that price, I'll stick with my Fieldsheer Booster pants. Just bought Brenda a pair today @ $127 including tax. I've worn mine at 19 degrees F and as warm as the 70s - just remove the liner. They are very versatile and the price is right. BTW I also have the Fieldsheer 3/4 length jacket and love it too. Lynn

Congratulations Kit! Lord willing, in eight or ten years I'll join you. Lynn

Thanks for the heads-up. Sounds exactly like something I would do. Lynn

What is your Christmas present to yourself?

"The day that will live in infamy" is almost forgotten. It was a sad day in American history but in the end it brought out the best in us. Our nation united behind our service men in a way it never had before and, perhaps, has not since. The partnership between "Rosie the riveter," the air raid wardens, those who fought "the battle of Bedford Falls," and the brave servicemen overseas was a high point in American history. Hats off and hands on heart to honor those valient men and women and the sacrifice they made for us and for our freedom. And thanks be to God who gives the victory. Lynn

Tim, If Jeff doesn't take the lamps please email me at Lraburn@faithNLR.org Lynn -
Thanks, Jim, for the update. We had wondered how it was going with you. Sorry that the injuries were so extensive and the healing is taking so long. It sounds, though, like the news is good. Congratualtions on a new life-long partner! Heal well and ride safe. Lynn in Australia

It's not quite summer yet here in Queensland. The weather is beautiful - in the 80's. We are getting some rain, thank the Lord, but still need more to make up for the drought. The only bad news about weather is that, after two months here, I only have another week. Then I go back to cold Arkansas. The good news is, I will be reunited with my bike! I'm almost healed from a stupid scooter accident and subsequent surgery with a plate and screws and everyone wonders why I want to get back on the bike. Sent your note and picture to them as an attitude adjustment. Thanks for the ammo! BTW I fell jogging here in Australia two years ago. No excuse. Just tripped on a crack in the sidewalk. Nothing broken even though I must have slid 10 feet. Looks like you bounced instead of slid :-) Ride again soon. Lynn
