I have the Diamond R saddle bag rail lights - and am very happy with the additional lighting in the rear and sides of the bike. I also added the LED's to the tail light and turn signals as mentioned above.

J & M has a great selection - especially if you are wanting to talk with other bikes in the group. Or, SCALA is good as well.

What an idiot - one day he will get his - but also endanger some poor innocent bystander. Does bring a new meaning to lane splitting though

Great music. At first, thought you had a semi following you - cool way to mount your camera. Good job - thanks for sharing.

Dang - that gril was amazing - her facial expressions told a story with her music as well.

If only modern day vehicles were that easy - that was an interesting video.

Pete, go new - and Buckeye Performance seems to be the only reputable one making such a stator - not sure of any others. I would also recommend replacing the rectifier to their higher output rectifier - most anyone generally recommends replacing both at the same time.

First, thanks for the feedback, guys. I didn't initially share enough information like a hurried dummy. In Jan, I had upgraded to Rick's HO stator and rectifier. Got somewhere around 12K miles out of the stator. I will state that this week I have been in contact with Rick, and he is being very cooperative in helping me with this situation - they are out of stock at the moment on these replacement stators, but hope to have a new production very soon. I am installing a new Yamaha stock stator that I had initally received under warranty to get me through the next few weeks - let Rick test the old one, etcetc. Also, having the dealership test all the connections, etc., but for this particular repair, I have taken the bike to my local dealer who is Honda / Suzuki certified - but their senior mechanic working on this bike is 4 star whatever certified from Yamaha as well. Originally, I had a senior mechanic at a Yamaha dealership around here install Rick's stator and rectifier. What I was looking for - but probably didn't ask the correct question - was is there a page somewhere that I could pull from the web - that would give me the correct "readings" or whatever its called to compare the readings I am going to get after this stator has been installed?

Is there a charging diagnostic page(s) somewhere I can find easily? I need to get that as soon as possible to diagnose / test my charging system on my 2005 RSTD. I tried some of the links in this post - and being not knowledgeable on this "stuff", I couldn't find anything. Any help will be appreciated!!!!

Great to read you guys are relatively OK - sorry that that mishap occured. -
Wow - Dan - you had some restraint that I don't know I would have had. Good on ya and congratulations on your patience. I'm probably with couple of the others here - if I had seen him get in a car - I would have been on to 911 in a heart beat.

Hang in there, Steve - time will fly by before you know it. I haven't had what you had, but when I had my neck surgery / fusion last year, the doctor had me off the bike for 6 months - anything sooner he said would mess stuff up. Having met during that period of time, and known people who didn't listen to their doctor's with the same surgery I had, I did listen to my doc - now I didn't even know I had had the surgery. -
Good luck, Don, will be keeping everything crossed for a speedy recovery.

Hey, that is a very interesting concept you have, Buddy - sort of see where you are heading with that. Like the skull, Brian. Great ideas - let's keep 'em coming.

Prayers and thoughts for a speedy recovery - Rod.

What part of the state of you located in Tim? There are some of us here in the Bay Area as well - couple or so are located in the Valley - due to the length of our state, we pretty much are all over the area, but "we are out there" - LOL.

I just spoke with Kurt this evening. He is in the middle of working with a KOA and possibly another campground there - as well as couple of additional hotels (on top of the Skyline we have already lined up). Many of the places are currently filled up and extremely busy - with folks returning from Sturgis and final visitors trying to beat the snow (it snowed today at 7,000 feet there) - or the owners are on vacation - whatever - so there will be some definitive information / pricing that will get posted up as soon as the final negotiations have been worked out. Just thought I might share the latest news.

Gotta watch out for those "birds of prey" ya know - LOL.
