  1. GREAT Pictures - thanks for sharing. Looks like an incredible trip.
  2. Couple of accidents up in Sac? There were couple here this morning on Hwy 4 - one fatal from what I heard. The second one was a guy wearing no helmet - - drinking may have been a factor (yeah right) LOL.
  3. Those do look very similar to the Kuryakyn grips - I have had the Kuryakyn's on my bike for four years - like them very much and contrary to that persons ad, mine have never moved around on the clutch side.
  4. Thanks, Eck. BBW stands for Big Bike Weekend - held each year in Redding Calif. It is a great weekend event - family oriented - and most often police departments from various jurisdictions come in to participate in their rodeo competitions.
  5. Thought I might share this information - this was sent to me by a friend who sponsors a good size rally here in Northern California - Big Bike Weekend. Seems this vendor may travel around. Look out for "bad" motorcycle merchandise vendors. During this year's BBW event an attendee purchased a helmet from Sports Equipment Extreme (vendor's name was Mark Raynes from San Dimas). The attendee never got his helmet and the business card and contact information isn't good. Sports Equipment Extreme also vended at the Golden Aspen Motorcycle Rally in New Mexico and they are having the same issues.
  6. :confused24:Maybe if they advertised those bikes here in the USA that way, they might sell more - LOL - just saying!
  7. Piece of cake - wife and I ride our bike to the store like that once a week! NOT! -- Wow, that was amazing!
  8. There are no trikes in Oz?????:confused24:
  9. Don't know Brian - looked like fun though something I would never consider - don't even think I could bend that much
  10. As the old saying goes - "And that is when the fight started" - good one -
  11. HEY, you got that installed - good on you, bud! I can "hear you now"
  12. Dang, I would have to agree with you there, Larry.
  13. For a new to be released bike, they sure came out with some accessories fairly quickly. Should be interesting to see how this bike does next year in the market. I might agree for this type of bike, I might like the Victory better - but at the end of the day, there are probably more Kawi dealers versus Victory dealers if one was to break down somewhere.
  14. WOW - I like that headlight technology - don't see (now) why all manufacturer's don't come up with something like that for motorcycles in general (though I would image it costs "couple of dollars". Not so keen on the seating position on that bike - but they are beautiful bikes to me.
  15. Thanks, Don. I might think those products are a great safety feature and idea, the only question I might have is what is someone forgets to unhook the safety device at the gas station to fill the tank? Whoops.:confused24:
  16. Do NOT - whatever you do - get a 90 degree that has rubber at the base - example of one I got from Cycle Gear on day and had installed on my front tire. That rubber base developed a hair line crack - causing a front tire blow out at 50MPH - wasn't fun. Immediatly had it replaced with an all metal (or whatever) 90 degree stem. Evidently, those rubber based ones came from China - and from my understanding, all were recalled for the reason above.
  17. Congrats on both, Ghost.
  18. Cool video - thanks for sharing, Jack.
  19. Geesh, bud, several visions are coming to my mind? Is the floor OK? Is you center support still dangling? On a different note, though, glad to read you are OK - take it easy up there big guy!
  20. Yo, Condor, if you trailered couple of your bikes back to Don's - you might have one to ride in Cody - LOL!!!
