I went out to the shed started my bike up sat on the seat put in gear and drove through the snow. Then I realized I was getting gassed from the bike running.

Thanks Im trying to make all parts functional on my bike.I may not use it much but think it would be nice to have all the parts. My son found a helmet on ebay with the venture logo. The color is real close to my bike. (I suggested it for a Christmas present and got it)

Just wondering if anyone has seen a mic for a 86 venture for sale any where.

I am an EMT I get the joy of seeing what happens when things go wrong. The child on the lap of a parent, Child is dead and the parent is ok. And the parent says I did not think it would happen. I did happen you killed your child. I see no good in this at all. There is a whole lot of difference between a car and a bike. What did this prove other then the parent is not a parent just an idiot. Don't get me started on drunks. Also make sure the helmet fits right A helmet to big can break a kids neck.

The smoke is poison so don't breath it.

I have used baking soda and super glue for a quick fix. Just don't breath the smoke. I put a small amount of baking soda in the crack then drop super glue on it. it will get hot and dry very fast.

Idont know if anyone has told you, but 2nd gear might go away after awhile. The 83 did have a history of a bad 2nd gear. Mine went out around 50 t0 55, 000 miles. I drove it up to 70,000 before I sold it. (just skip 2nd gear) When I got my 84 I skipped 2nd by habit. Enjoy and good luck

I have been very big on sea foam. I have never been disappointed in the results. Put in fuel only. Not sure what would happen if you put an additive in the oil. Good luck with the new ride. Whats the point of buying new when you can work on an old one.

Finally paid and back. looking forward to all the knowledge to be had here. I was here a few years ago then had to sale my bike do to family issues. I have a 1986 royal. Ill post some pics when I get a chance. Thanks Doug

I had a lot of trouble trying to find how to pay to get back in. So new name new bike. Started with a 83 then 84 now 86 royals. Glad to be back and will pay soon as I can find it.
