  1. I have a stater side gasket if anyone one is in need of it. Free just let me know where to send it. I got it for a 86 royal. also have a universal that went on a 83 royal. A intercom cable ,not sure if it works. Possible more things if I start cleaning out the garage. Just let me know. Also blank left side dash for 86
  2. We had one of the kids in the neighborhood jump a ramp. He landed on his face breaking his glasses nose lips. He had blood everywhere, we all thought he was dead so we ran home and hid. Man we were good friends
  3. And just think we did this with out a computer in our hands
  4. One thing was digging a fox hole in the front yard so the neighbors would not attack. We got friendly fire when mom got home. Jumping the train to see how fare we could get before it got going to fast. Riding the wagon down the stairway in the house. We put on a football helmet so we was safe. Again mom was not happy Sledding off the garage in the winter. we had no hills to go down. Using moms umbrella to jump off the garage. did not work like the cartoons Digging for treasure in an old building down the road. I'm broke so no did not find one. Man I had fun growing up. My 2 brothers and I never had a slow day.
  5. My first bb gun was a daisy pistol (not co2). I snuck up behind a black bird to shoot it and it did not even have enough power to piss the bird off. I shot the bird it turned and flew away, I think it was laughing at me when he left. Then I got a pump gun my butt still hurts from all the butt beatings I got from shooting thing I was not supposed to.
  6. Diamond back bike.
  7. I guess I was to easy to going. I have saw a bunch bikes but no one will respond back. I'm sure the right one will turn up. But watching someone driving away with your bike on a trailer is like watching your daughter leaving on her first date.
  8. Looking for a smaller bike. Age and health is slowing me down
  9. Sold my bike tonight. It was a easy sell, The guy met me at my house when I got off work. I showed him how ever thing worked warmed it up.I pulled it out of the garage let him sit on it and then he started down the drive. He pulls out on the street about hits his trailer then drives in the neighbors yard then down the road. I knew it was not going to be pretty. He comes back tries to stop hits the front brake and he dropped my bike. It hit his trailer breaking the light off the trailer. He broke some plastic on the bike. I walked up to him and told him it is his bike now give me the money. He gave me the money I loaded the bike on the trailer for him tied it down because he did not know how to use a ratchet. I hate to say it, it will be crashed the next nice day to ride. He told me he knew how to ride but I guess not.
  10. pipe insulation and zip ties.I have seen this when loading bikes in tight places. Good thread at my age I need to go slow. If I drop my bike I call my wife. Then she is mad and can pickup an elephant.
  11. I am to the point of not using craigslist anymore. You try to sale or buy and all it is is scammers. I put my bike on craigslist for sale. I get 4 emails that they want the bike. So they give me a number I look it up and reply with their address full name and age and they quit responding. The last one was from CA. I know they don't want an old bike sent that far. It just gets to the point I don't even want to buy of sale. So beware on the scammers
  12. I posted a while back on my brother having lung cancer. After the treatment and taking a part of his lung out he is doing well.(cancer free) But in the mean time he was fired from his job of 35 years. They said his FMLA ran out and was unable to keep him. He had 2 weeks of vacation that they would not let him use. He does have a good 401k to keep in eating. He worked for Zimmer/ Biomet what make surgical tools and prosthetics. So if you need something from that company just remember how well they take care of their works. His doctor group has decided to quit using the products made from this company.
  13. I use a 15/40 from the farm store close to me (TSC) I get it in 2.5 gallon containers to help the cost . I checked it was the same as rottela. A friend of my uses it in his $300,000 dollar combines. I trust it in a 86 royal that cost $2000.
  14. I purchased a 1980 yamaha 250 that had no title. Dealing with old car club people they led me to International title out of Vegas. I called the company they told me all i needed was a check to see if it was stolen insured and picture and of course $150. In 3 weeks I got a registration and plates from Maine. In a few months I took the registration to DMV . With no questions they looked up the law in maine issued my Indiana title. Any bike over 15 years old in maine only uses registration for transfer. I was told other states does the same but i am not sure of the states. Also i did ask a state trooper if this was legal.
