We got home about 1.5 hours ago. We did some shopping along the way at the Outlet Malls that delayed us. Becky got here 2 pairs of Skechers for & 80.00 at which would have cost us nearly $200.00. Plus we got a few more items over 50% off. Had a GREAT Time as usual! A bit crowded there in Lexington. We all got separated now and then, but we know that Venturing Sole and Riderduke didn't. As they strolled hand in hand to the Out House amongst the crowd! Was that hilarious, as 2 ladies had to stop , turn around and do a double take to look at them again! Mini getting lost among the crowded candy store, Sledgehammer getting company as he laid down to take a nap on the hill at the Lumber Jack competition, Oh the list goes on........................ Shuttled from Wally World was not bad at all. Hardly had to wait getting to the festival and coming back. Weather was Brilliant other than a slightly cool mourning, which warmed up quickly. http://s299.photobucket.com/albums/mm312/BEERCART/Lexington%20Festival/ Thanks to Tim and Renee for the "CLEAN SHEETS" and their , as always "Hospitality"! It was a FUN Time as usual ! BEER30

I didn't use a relay as LED's are low amperage. I have a switch box that attaches to the handlebar brake res.. It has 3 switches powered by one lead to which I went straight to the + on the battery. Each of the 3 switches has it's own leads to go to what ever you wish to provide power. They themselves have their own fuse link inline. However I did put a fuse link on the main + lead. BEER30

First off , check your state and local laws, mainly as to what colors you may or may not use. I've had various types of LED accent lights. I had the 1 Million colores lights which had many functions and could change colors, strobe, and almost walk the dog. But the remote got wet and I haven't sent them back to manufacturer for repair. So now I use RED LED's that I got from Harbor Freight. Caught them on sale for under $7.00 a strip. Have them scattered all over the scoot with a fused switch. Ran the wires under and behind any part of the scoot where they are not seen. LED strips as well are hidden, under saddle bags, under trunk, under tank, under seats and as well facing up located on the inside of the running boards. Tank is too wide to shine up in my face and it gives a nice reflection on the engine. I'll be placing more as soon as they go on sale again. BEER30

That's a good question. I'll call our CCW officer at the county chicken shack to find out. I need to discuss something with him anyways. BEER30

Don't Try this Kiddies. Not nice Border Guards.
BEER30 replied to mrich12000's topic in Watering Hole
I've seen this crap on both sides and I have been detained as well....figure that for size , LOL! Honestly, I don't see borders among US and Canada other than political borders. Both residents of each nation have a great respect for one another , other than a few trouble makers thugs. However Border guards on each side do push their wait around now and then. I was once coming back into the US and was stopped at the Canadian side prior to my departure of Canada. I was pulled in for unkown questioning. At the same time, there was an elderly couple whom the wife was physically challenged coming into Canada. They were taken from their car , actually drug out, taken in for questioning and their car was stripped down totally along with their luggage scattered all over the parking lot. What I thought was supposed to be a simple routine questioning from me took longer as the Canadian Border guards spent more time victumizing these people, All over her legal prescription drugs. The poor old lady, barely sitting upright in here wheelchair and her husband were then released and sent back to their car. The man asked if they were going to put their belongings back in order and were told that it was their problem. The car seats were even taken out. To find out I was only stopped as I had a fox tail hanging off my windshield mirror and they needed to find out if it was on the endangers species list and which they found out is was legal. As I departed, the elder man was pleading for help to get his car put back together. I offered, but the CBG said I could not cross overto the north bound side of the building to help. So I immediately drove to the US side and after being asked the routine re-entry questions and cleared to proceed, I pulled over into the parking lot and entered the Customs building to notify US Border officials that of what had happened. It didn't take no time before 4 officers on foot walked over to the Canadian side and had a few words with the Canadian officers. It didn't take long at all for the Canadian officers to start putting back together what they had destroyed. I wish I was a Fly on the wall to hear what was said. On a completely different topic, US Homeland Security personnel now has swollen head since 9/11. While in DC, attending Rolling Thunder as I am a member and we just had presented historical documents to the Library of Congress, they threw little 'ol me out of the building! I had forgotten that I had a small knife in my pocket. I declared it to an officer immediately after I saw a sign that stated "NO KNIVES". I declared it voluntarily to surrender it to the officer for either to hold onto it until I departed or throw it away. Well, the female officer had a fat head and unprofessionally went off on me using foul language. I can take foul language, but it was uncalled for to say the least. So I obliged her and told her to go urinate up a rope (that was saying it politely here for you fine folks) ! Well she knew I had plenty of witness to say she started the dispute other than me honestly forgetting to leave my small knife on the bike. Needless to say , Becky and I left and returned back to the scoot. Only to find 2 of DC finest MC cops at my bike and BEERCART. As we approached, they greeted us and asked how we were. I replied,"That depends". They asked why I replied with them words and I said to them that I thought they were here to arrest me. They laughed and said that their supervisor told them to come look at our bike and trailer. They both chuckles and said that Homeland Security working in the Library of Congress are a bunch of jerks and that Rent-a-Cops had more sense than them. Well we spoke with them about points of interest in the Capital area and we stated that there was no where to park. Immediately , Becky and I got a lighted MC Police escort around the Capital and presented a parking spot with our very own Secrete Service agents to watch over our bike as it was parked in what any other occasion an illegal spot. I just wonder sometimes on how I get myself into some of these situations? BEER30 -

(Weather) Great ! Becky and I will have the BEERCART. Those whom dress warm and need to shed some layers can lock up them up in the BEERCART for safe keeping when it gets warm and at the Festival. 40's .................I guess that's a little bit better than 16 degrees when Riderduke and I rode the scoots at the New Years M&E . Sorry to hear the BERSA chewing up your hand. One of the employees that I take Tactical Shooting course with as well as 3 gun shoot has a Glock 19. His hand is a bloody mesh at the end of the day. My brother in laws (2 of them) are LEO and they too get their hand chewed up as well. I have no issues shooting the Glock , however I do not like the feel of it in my hand. I have fairly large hands myself . Our employee and I discussed this issue with several Instructors. Besides wearing gloves, they said to re-assure your grip. Make the necessary adjustments in grip technique and drill, drill , drill. Smaller pistols with less recoil will not require the death grip such as larger handguns of higher caliber. Thous saying the Death grip is not needed. Wife has small hands and hadn't had the worm-bite yet. She does need more training and we will be out on the range with her real soon. Then off to an instructor to educate her more professionally. Then off to get her he Carry Conceal. What else is better than to have a Navigator that doubles as Tail-Gunner ! BEER30

Go check out some of the gun ranges. Some of them will rent you a gun.Our local gun range has a flat rate day charge that one can take a pistol out on the range, fire it as many as you want, then come back and exchange it for another. This way one can feel it in action for what will determine if the gun fits his hands or if you like it. Better than buying something you think you like, only to find out you spent $$ unwisely. I'm not a HK fan. The SIGS are good, and Kimbers I think are over rated. Get a gun that fits you well in hand and in mind. Guns are similar to bikes, if you don't enjoy riding them, you pawn them off until you get the right one. If you don't feel right, you get nervous. If your nervous, your mindset is not focused. If you do not resolve these issues, better not have a gun. One can say the same things about women !!!!!! BEER30

I love this piece. Took it straight out of the case and went plinking with it prior to handing it over to the Boss. Nice size and pretty accurate for me shooting even up to 50 meters with it at 6" iron targets. The Bersa Thunder looks good as well as I have several friends whom have them. I can carry it in my pocket pretty comfortably as well, so saying easy to conceal. Lot more safety features on it more so than XD or Glocks... But the best safety feature anyone can have is education and training , and more training and etc......... I say you will not regret getting the BERSA unless you have other taste or want a cannon. Just Do IT! BEER30

I haven't a mount made to fit the scoot directly yet. Though I have mine mounted to the BEERCART on welded sockets on the trailer tongue. Poles are 8' and made of highly polished 1"aluminum with a 3/4" inside the 1", making it doubled walled. I have had mine up to 75 MPH. That's 3 flags I fly at one time, 2- 3x5 and 1- 4x6. I'll be making myself a hitch mount later this spring. BEER30

The night I went into the hospital with my stone, they gave me a flu shot. Not saying that I felt Honky-Dorry afterwords, I don't think the shot gave many ill effects. Hope ya get to feeling better. I'd feel guilty putting a 1st genr down while he's not feeling good . Truce until you are better ! BEER30

You have an AR with the 22LR conversion? The TACO pouch will work for those mags as well. Do not sale armor though, only the carriers. And Thanks to all of those whom replied. We're going to have a lot of media coming up soon. Some exposure in a DVD of another company that will be using some of our gear in it. It will promote a lot of sales within itself. BEER30

Just curious what ya think of this video. One of our company's fans (Canadian) put this U-Tube video up as a review of some of the products that our company makes. The Boss and I liked it so much that we made arrangements for him to more videos to place up on the company's website. Like I mentioned , we like it and we wish to share it with you of your opinion. I know you will like it too, but if you see anything that might make it better, please let me know. By the way our companies website is www.hsgi.us and this will explain on what we do. You may also have to lock the phone to keep them paired. My BB and Droid both bounced back and forth until I looked on the phones screen (Keep connected) to confirm them paired. Also check your settings on the phone. I cannot remember exactly what it was called , but it somewhat was a setting that kept them paired/visible once they mated. BEER30
