BEER24/7 and I made it back home around 4:30 . Departed with the Muffin's in Lumberton , NC onto our last leg of the journey . What a great trip this was . Despite that we left in the rain , arrived at midnight , it was one heck of a trip to be with friends old and new . Thanks to Sleeperhawk and Mechanic for a "Great" time and to all those present at the M & E , it was a pleasure again to see you ! You that didn't come , you missed out on some delicious pies ! Man , that looks like fun ! Been in a few tights spot's myself coming in on an outward tide , unfavorable wind and high surf . Getting lined up with the bouys with cross current during 8' seas in a 22' tub . Along with shallow inlet . Just get on top of a wave and go surfing inwards , hoping not to over run the break . With Hooter's girls aboard full of Rhode Island Ice Tea , giggling their butt's off ! :cool10: BEER30

Hey Kit , Just rent one for the day during the M & E . Being Halloween just around the corner , wear the mask so nobody recognizes ya ! I had the advantage of measuring my wife with the tape at time of ordering and use their sizing chart . She wears a medium according to the chart . I hope all does go well . BEER30

No , I did not get pictures , but she did . And boy did he whine when she took them . He did admit they were trailer trapp'n in the back of a P/U getting down here . My camera was not available . BEER30

Didn't have the sheep skin on today , as it was raining this mourning , But I know she would have loved it . I don't think a sheep skin would have made a difference , as she was amazed with the comfort of the RSV . You know the feeling , same as the 1st gen passengers ! :rotf: BEER30

She did comment on just how comfortable that rear seat was and how smoothness on how it rode . She loved the armrest , backrest , passenger floorboards and ecspecially the extra room . She said she would be afraid that she would fall asleep during the ride . BEER30

Well just got back from rescuing an HD as they were on vacation out of Tennessee and down here on vacation . I was coming up from behind approaching an HD riding 2 up . Noticed that they were noticing something strange until they pulled over . I pulled in behind them to notice that there rear tire going flat . Well I told the rider I would do 2 up with his wife and follow him to a garage where we could get the tire fied . Only a short mile down the road it was . The rider's wife asked as we were on our way if I had any experience riding and riding 2 up ? I understood her concern as she was placing herself life in jeoperdy with me driving . I told her that I just got this scoot yesterday , But I am learning and haven't tipped it over yet !:rotf: The look on her face was undescribable . Well we got down to the garage and my freind already had 2 cages on the rack and no tire and the flat one has a chunk of glass in it and non-repairable . So I fetched my truck and trailer and returned to load up the scoot and head down to the HD House . So this time the HD warranted a trailer ride . They were a nice couple and told them about our family . They are eager to look upon the site after they return home . Hopefully by now , their scoot's tire is replaced and the wind is to their back . Hope they have a safe trip home . I just thought I had to post , to share to you the look on her face when I made my experience reply . It was priceless ! BEER30

Well Kit , you did say is a clean description (plumber) , you have a Crappy Job ! :rotf: .........and might as well be expected to be treated like it ! (Double) :rotf: ........Just Kidding of course . I see this all day long when I am on the road . Ecspecially amongst these marines coming and going off base . Then the elderly locals whom think because they have lived here all there life , everyone should cater o them . Honestly , I just drive my own game . Act and react to traffic , being observant . Focusing on the traffic and letting the site seeing remain unseen unless we are in the somewhat clear of loon-a-ticks and commicozzie cagers . That is why I video (helmet cam ) to veiw the sites after I get home or let the tailgunner narrate the scernery to me as we travel . BEER30

What do you call a day ? I did 1,740 miles in 36 hours before my head hit the horizontal plain (2 hour cat-nap). Even attended a M & E and a drive home from there to add . BEER30
