Well , I received my early Christmas presents of a set of Baron's 4-2-4's with Extreme Slash tips and a Yamaha front fender rail . Christmas day , I received a large Gold Nugget from my Uncle Bill's Gold mine up in Alaska which is mounted on my gold chain necklace , 2 pair of Carhart bluejeans , Embroidered "BEER30" patch to put on my vest , a wallet , LED accent lights for the scoot , plenty of homemade fudge , Joe Boxer shorts (so I don't have to sit around typing on the computer necked anymore) , BEER , Professional Studio photo's of my son/daughter-n-law and my granddaughter , and plenty of phone calls from my VR.Org family and to hear my granddaughter giggle for her first time ! I think that the Venture 150's would be too darn fast for Charlie !!!!:rotf::rotf: BEER30

First off , Congrats on getting a GPS ! Now let us know what GPS you got so we can determine which mount would be best suited . I have the ZUMO 550 which came with mounts for both scoot and cage . RAM mounts would be my first suggestion . As far as maps or GPS , GPS hands down ! BEER30

To be honest , I don't want my leather to become oil soaked ! I'll just keep it on a 2nd Gen where it looks better anyways . Besides we do not need another excuse to hear why a 1st gen runs slower . :rotf: BEER30

I first have to get all my other projects completed . I am also guilty of being way behind . These bike projects I do in my spare time as well . And when I do take on a custom project , I will drill you with questions on how you want the project made . I try not to do just ordinary stuff either . Best you call me on details . My # is listed in the members list . BEER30

Hey Cindy , get the facts straight . #1 ) I have no teeth . (The gals like the slobbering smooches better) #2) My beard isn't white ....It chewing tobacco stained . You know , a redneck's version of "Just for Men " Beard and Mustache dye . #3) The Beer Cart can hold more than just a mere 8 cases of BEER ! Must I repeat myself ! :rotf: #4) How can you mention "Pink" or "Hieneken" without also mentioning "StardBog and Muffinman in the same sentence ? That's not right at all ! Overall , I LOVE IT ! See ya next year , or even sooner ! Next , I'll be the Drunk Tooth Fairy . Visit Cindy as her teeth fall out ...or maybe sooner to pull them out !:rotf: LOVE IT ! Merry Christmas to all and to Cindy a Fright Night ! BEER30 -
Hey , you did name this topic , "Telling on Myself " .:rotf: Watch out for the railroad tracks too , even without cruise control . 2nd week I had my scoot , crossed the tracks in a lean going around a curve/intersection . Both front and rear tires hit evenly on the tracks . I slipped ..no kidding , about 2-3 feet sideways as I was in the turn . Soiled my seat pretty badly , but maintained the scoot upright . There are "slickums" everywhere and some that the Gremlin Bell does not see either ! BEER30

"AMEN" to that what Muffinman said , my 2 wheeled Brothers and Sisters ! BEER30

And for those whom want to get the HDTV , look at the channel lineup . Most HD channels lean towards the Premium packages and PPV's . Our locals already broadcast in HD , but Direct claims it will be a year or so before they can get them up and loaded . Claims that they are spot beamed . :rotf: I know , I know :whistling: Save your $$$ on SatTV , Get Mamoa a Hulla-Hoop , cooking lessons , watch the creek rise , or better yet.... Ride that 2nd Gen ! Well that explains it ! You weren't wearing your cowboya booties , 10 gallon bandana , or your pistollas , wearing a big tin star cut out of a road sign on your chest , draggin a corriente steer behind you again , were ya ? :rotf: BEER30

I made the same mistakes several times before, up in Alaska . Lost control and darn near missed hitting other people and ran off the road using the cruise control in the snow . Another instance I hit some damp slick asphalt , Mother nature does not tell the cruise control the weather conditions as well as any other adverse hazards . Cruise control speed is set by the speedometer , it does not distinguish whether or not the the drive tire slip or not as long as the speedometer says it's going as fast as it was set , therefore the engine RPM's will increase until the speedometer reaches it's set position . Just like on the older cages with manual transmissions that did not have a sensor that told the cruise control to de-activate when the clutch was de-pressed , the motor would rev higher and higher regardless of the speed of the cage . Perhaps my wording was to harsh , but I would like to see all us members again another day . BEER30

If it could only work this way :whistling: . We all pay the same reasonable premium for insurance coverage for a 6 months or yearly contract . That amount goes into a trust account . Insurance companies cannot touch that trust account until that term has reached it's maturity as per contract . And/Or if a claim was made and at the time of the settlement , both recipient and insurance companies get paid off at the same time . This way the insurance company will not drag their conspiring lead feet as much as they do to settle out . Put both the insured and the insurance company in the same boat sort-a-speaking . Also gives the injured parties an equal stand against organized crime . BEER30

Perhaps that dumb foot of yours was telling you something ...."No cruise control on wet roads , Please !". Besides that , Glad to see ya out on the scoot ! BEER30

Dale , I'll forgive you if you have to trailer the scoot to good pavement **double snicker**. As a matter of fact , I'll put you up for night of two , so we can **snicker**, **snicker** at Cindy having to work in the cold miserable climate ! Going to get up near the 70's this weekend ! Good **snickering ** weather , don't you think ? Then we will actually see how kind of a "loving understanding considerate wife" you really have ! :rotf::rotf: BEER30
