Other than the BDU's, everything else looks legit . The boots appear to be Oakley's . I even noticed that there is some Army ACU pouches pictured . The body armor is the Eagle Cirrus and even an EGL "Fugly" admins pouch on the chest , which has been in production for at least 2 years . Ammo pouches look to be the Tactical Tailor "Shingles" , and rider wearing a "Mich" helmet . US reverse flag worn on the shoulder , but also a US flag on the chest . Suprises me that they are not subdued , but most likely worn in the Green zone . I got picture of guys wearing desert Tiger stripe or even the Crye Precision "Multlicam" . Somewhere I have a DVD of a segment showing an interview of 19th SFG , who I designed their plate carriers that was given to me by the Colonel in the interview in Afghanistan and they are wearing US flags that are not subdued while on patrol . I live across the street from a TLZ (Tactical Landing Zone) where the Marines exercise . They have MC , ATV , and even the seen the larger Utility ATV's . Once I had an Army Mule , M-274 , minus the 106 recoilless gun .....bummer and rode it across the street while they were doing exercises .Man the fun we had on that thing with the guys . BEER30

About 3 months after I purchased my scoot , I had radio problems either controls locking up or not coming on . As advised by member here on the forum , was to open the fairing , and check the connections and use that ole' mighty electrical grease in the connection . I have (knock on wood) never to this date had an issue with it . I was told the RSV is shipped with fairing on , minus windshield , saddlebags , trunk, mirrors and antennas on . BEER30

In that case , how about a "Transporter" and a "Replicator" just like on Star Trek . A "Replicator" will come in real handy for all the 1 gen's .....no more parts bikes !!!!!! BEER30

And the 16 track , and the Jack in the Box wind up musical boxes too ! BEER30

Ok now , there was vynl , then reel to reel , then 8-track , then cassette , then CD (on which many here wished the RSV had) . But by the time they put CD on the RSV , will CD be outdated ? Will we have MP3 players installed , where we will buy SD chips or similar ? Anybody holding there breathe ? BEER30

I wear "NATIVE" Hardtop . Comes with 4 sets of lenses and has lifetime Guarantee . I use them mostly as they have the Brown shade that doesn't hurt my eyes . I paid less than MSRP at a shop in Gatlinburg . http://www.nativeyewear.com/home.php BEER30

And it was so nice , not having to listen to the Muffinman say just how fast the 1st Gen is every so often as we were riding . Now my days of peace and quiet are limited ! BEER30
-
How fast are you running when you hop upon that lift ? Mine hasn't budge a bit . Beer30
-
Just curious , is there any way the MC manufacture or the Insurance company can deny claim if an accident or a warranty issue were to happen if running a car tire ? BEER30
-
Are you referring to the ATV lift or drive up on lift table ? BEER30
-
If you screw the leveling bolts down , it will not move . Also get some grid tape and apply in the path of the wheels . When backing the scoot off the lft , the front tire has not enough weight/traction to stop the scoot . I also made out of wood side box extensions to make it wider as I drive up on the lift . Makes for a safer support as the lift isn't wide enough for yer feet . BEER30

WHOOOO_HOOOO ! Faster too . Must be a 2nd Gen Server ! Don , Now that you have the site up going smoother and faster , want to redo my forum for me ? It's worse than you can imagine , only 4+ years old without any upgrades . Redo mine and I'll donate a bar of soap to go with that shower you need . Now let the CHAOS begin ! WHOOOO-HOOOOO!!!!!!! Hey Bubber , you did PM me . But today was a madhouse at the shop and could not reply to all my e-mails and PM's . But here's a thread that shows the bag liners I make . http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=6859&highlight=saddle+liners&page=6 Post #90 . I sale them for $75.00 per set (all 3 bags) . These are for the 2nd Gens and will work for the MkII's . I have the patterns for the MKI's as well . I only have 2 sets left for the 2nd Gen's and need to check out whom has PM'd me first . All MC stuff I make , I do in my spare time , which is very slim . BEER30

Please excuse me for saying , but sounds like we have crisis at the present time . Fund raisers ....raffles and all good deeds are great for the future , but the problem is now ! Everyone is saying they are willing to pay ....."well crap or get of the pot !" is what my grandpa used to tell me put in a nicer way . I know Don is doing the best he can , more panic over anything and he doesn't ask for anything or much at all . But it time for us that say they are willing to commit , then please do so . This our home , just need to pay the rent somewhat . Now excuse me , I'm having a bad too . So I will go sit in the corner until beer:30 ! BEER30

Just a thought and I really do not know , but what would be the cost to set up your own server ? I know we have a few Computer Geeks/Guru's here whom will know . Also having another thought , how about 2 sites in one . A freebie for newcomers and a donation funded site for the regulars whom can donate (premium site) . Those whom frequent the site , but cannot afford may request permission to enter the premium side based upon whom they are and income . Also on the premium side , members personal issues would be more secure (I think) as it will not be part of the public to view . In saying the members whom are willing and can afford to help in the finance of the premium side , can also help those whom cannot afford . The non-paid side still can and have certain information to help in maintanence issues and M & E announcements . In time when they can afford or donate , they themselves can contribute when they can . There's no need for you Don to foot the bill for all of us to have the pleasure of all the great wealth of knowledge and friendship this site has given . But before anyones feathers get ruffled , most of us know whom can or cannot afford to shell out a little bit more to help the site out . Just think as this site is another piece of shiny chrome ! Not to say anyone has a problem buying chrome ! Just an idea and my thoughts on this . ......By the way , I just donated because it was time for me to step up to the plate ! Enough members here have when I needed help , so it's my turn . BEER30
