Black Cerry or Maroon / Burgandy/Red Trunk Liners Pictures
BEER30 replied to frogmaster's topic in Watering Hole
Glad you like them there Frogmaster . The girls at the shop loved the color as well , as we usually only make gear in military colors . It was nice change to do something different. BEER30 -
But , but , but , who's going to feed the Pond Monster while you two are away ? Party at Freebird's !!!!!!!!!! BEER30

Dang Lou , First off I hope you and Vicki get to a speedy recovery ! I just replaced my Mich. Commander rear today with over 16 k on it and it still had a little skin left on it and it didn't hit the wear mark just yet . But it was close too it . Now you go and mess up my purdy work . Should have had the Dr. put a few stitches in the bras . Next BRA set we make for you will either have to have "Curb Feelers" on them or inflatable implants in them to bounce you back upright ! I think when all the bugs are worked out , Mini will have a new ride for herself . Now no need for her toes to touch the ground at stops . I can also see the hack painted in Tony Stewart's colors , with new license plates "MINMUF" on the scoot and Muffinman taking naps in the hack ! BEER30

Has anyone had to run over truck tire?
BEER30 replied to roadwarrior's topic in Safety and Education
Heck Ya , you score points that you can scratch gators on top of your gas tank ! Hey FreeBird , Can we have a Combat Counter placed on the forum by our statistics like we do our Awards ? As a matter of fact I hit one long azz gator that stretch across the entire lane several weeks ago , coming over a hill bound curve doing 60-ish about 4:00 am . Didn't even have a split second to react as I hit it and it curled up in a ball and hit the foot-peg of the HD behind me . No one hurt , but it woke us both up ! We were just lucky it was laying flat and we hit it at a 90 degree . I was pulling the BEERCART at the time and I assume that was what it cause it to curl up . It wasn't 500 yards I hit a Wild Hare (not Lowell) which run out in front of myself and missed it with the scoot , but the BEERCART's trailer stand scalp him and slung blood and fur all over the BEERCART and the HD behind me . So that tells me my next addition to the BEERCART is a BBQ pit ! Roadkill and BEER , M&E at any mile post ! BEER30- 20 replies

Pain , here are some older pic's of the 2nd Gen liners . I hope to get some new pic's up soon . On the issue of a matching stuff sack for the sleeping bag , call me for idea's and details . I have no materials that is completely waterproof at this time . One may have to use a trash bag inside to completely waterproof , but it will match . I've been wanting to make a trunk bag for awhile now , but mine (mine only) will be matching tooled leather ! But I can make a 200 denier slip over cover to help repell the rain . BEER30

Yes you may . Muffinman got me the saddle bags and trunks for both the MK-I and MK-II for me to make patterns for . I will be making these pattern templates this week to start making the liners for . Also I was able to aquire Cordura in Maroon . So these Maroon liners will be 2-tone , Maroon/Black(webbing and mesh) if any one wants this color . BEER30

I use a Canyon Dancer for the handlebars just to stabilize the bike for side to side motion , but choke down with a sling I made up . Basically 24" long with loops sewn on the ends . Fold the sling in half , pass it around the handlebars between the risers . Open the fold and pass the 2 end loops through the fold . Then each end to the right and left where I fasten my ratchet straps . When I load up the scoot where the fastening loops on the trailer do no allow a straight passage where it interferes with the plastic , I made another sling that attaches to two attachment points , finding a point where the main ratchet strap will not interfere , tie a loop knot more or less forming a "Y" , then secure the ratchet straps . I have slings that I attach to the trunk supports to secure the rear of the scoot down as well . BEER30

As I talked to XM this mourning , nothing yet is placed on their websites . They are still working on it . When I told them I had Sirius in my truck , they told me to call Sirius and either subscribed with them as they already have me in their network or ask them to get permission to transfer everything back to the XM office to make it simpler . Either way , I would get the same respective rates as if I were dealing directly with on office with the both systems . They are still working on ironing out all the details . For right not , the extra packages will be the "Best Of........." added to each respectable plan . BEER30

$67.00 a year , I'm calling XM back !!!!!!! I have Sirius in my Ford , I'm assuming you have a Chevy ? BEER30

I have XM on the scoot , but had Sirius in my truck . Kinda liked a little of each . Hopefully soon , customers can pick and choose what they want from either . I just like SAT radio better as it's uninterrupted why drive long miles and not having to worry about loosing stations or switching/searching . Oh by the way , here's a PDF of the Channel lineup for now . BEER30

Just updated my XM subscription and asked a few questions concerning the XM/Sirius merger . They have now started to introducing "The Best of Sirius" on XM . Not all the channels are what some of you would want to hear right now , Howard Stern , PlayBoy , Martha Stewart , but at least they added NASCAR and NFL . Hey it's a start ! Other subscription tiers are in the works . I have went ahead and paid a years subscription of $186.89 + my XM weather for my Zumo for the XM + BOS . I was under the impression that any additional receiver would be somewhere around $6-7 + change a month . NOT ! $10.+change per "YEAR" for any additional receiver , whether it be an an XM or Sirius receiver !!!!! However the added Sirius channels aren't numerous at this time , at least it's a start as more channels to added later . Now from what XM told me , the same shall apply to Sirius subscribers . But they will be getting "The Best of XM" to start . So since my free Sirius radio subscription out of my new truck has expired , I just might take advantage of the $10.+change a year additional receiver charge . Though my truck sit pretty in the driveway most of the time ! :hihi: Just thought I would spread the news that something is happening in the XM/Sirius merger . BEER30

That's great there Mini . As I told Jeff last night , he's now has something to defend himself from you now ! There was a DQ in Sneads Ferry we passed by . We could have made the run early and then wave at all the bikes as they came by , then jump into the crowd to finish the ride . Nothing like having dessert before dinner !!!!! BEER30

Well my son Jason is preparing the artwork and is getting the needles ready for the "INKING" . Man them needles never looked so HUGE ! Then he reminded me that these needles were specially for the Mechanic ........:whistling:. He has a comfortable chair for her to sit in and I have prepared some restraint strap on it , so it should be just like home in the Dungeon for her . So Mama if your going to attend the inking , please bring your whip . Then we can pull double duty !!!!. Squidley's ink is going to be simple . We are just going to handcuff him to the light pole out near the street for all the passer-bys to stare at ! Hope he's wearing his Barney under-roos . Thanks to all of you that contributed and for those whom supported in any way . Those whom couldn't contribute , well you can still do your part in Praying for the Mechanic and Squidley . They are going to need all the prayers she can get !!!!:rotf: Let's push the Donations to higher goal if we can . It's a worthy cause for the Children . BEER30

Considering that there was only 2 photos in the entire article . I say me and Muffinman take great pictures . Just a bummer we were not feeding our faces with a DQ Banana Split at the time . BEER30

NOOOOOOOOOO , But you can pick up my empty Beer Cans !!!!:missingtooth::rotfl: BEER30

Gunboat , thanks for the info. . I not really interested in placing a CT on my scoot . I was just curious if anyone has popped the question or discussed the issue . As I consider all here as family , I am not here to argue the issue over CT's on scoots . Just to bring up the subject for the unknown at this time . The BEERCART gets the weaves and wobbles occasionally when the big trucks pass by , but hardly noticeable in fill to me .Usually someone has to tell me it's weaving . BEER30

If I ain't mistakin , Sweetnothin is from Texas or has at least Texas blood in her ......I think. Or it could be the fixin's of cheesecake all over Sweetnothin that makes her more huggable. Have a wonderful time there Bobbie and George . . Beer30

Haven't taken the time to read all the Darkside threads , but has anyone pulled a trailer while having a CT on their scoot ? How does it handle flat land , cornering , twisties , etc. ? Just curious . BEER30

Maybe the first PodCast could be the "Mechanic" screaming her lungs out in pain , as she's getting inked for St.Judes ! BEER30
