When I seen the title "Strange Logic" I thought someone was stirring the pot and talking politics

I will put you on our Thursday morning prayer list. We will praying for 100% healing. With that said, if you are a klutz with just walking around, how will you handle crutches. My fear is if something like this happens to me, how will I get up in the middle of the night and go pee:sign67: I do not think I would get much help from my wife and kids. Hopefully it will be good to go by riding season in 2016 Larry

Great story. I YamLar I can tell you are a good person just by your name, Larry, I have never met a bad or ugly Larry LOL Not at our church but one in the community we got a young lady (just turned 16) diagnosed with overran cancer. One of my greatest fears as a parent is to loose one of my children. My heart aches for the parents for Emma. Being a pastor of a church for a while we have come across this before, and those parents with strong faith seem to get through it better, I do not think anyone ever gets totally through it. I do like the color, I would have to admit painting a Venture would be tough work. I love my color but would rather have something with a bit more style. Larry

Still using CB, or gone to bluetooth?
Larry1963 replied to OutKast's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
I have a Sena Bluetooth system, I had it before I had my venture. To be honest I like the hard wired headset system of the Venture or Goldwing. The blue tooth can be picky to sink with others. I have been on a ride where I was just one of those middle bikes, so I kept my mouth shut but it was nice to be able to listen to the front and bike bike, knowing when turns where coming up. Plus I was have been riding by myself and all of a sudden get the message a picture take is up ahead. SO I like the CB radio -
I remember when I first joined the AF and become an aircraft mechanic. I worked for an older civilian that was retired military. One of the first big jobs I was doing I could not get a pin to go through the hole, just as I was about to get a hammer and make it go, he stopped me and told me said if it needed a hammer someone would have told you, if to doesn't work right the first time, take your time, put it down, do not force it, ask for help. But never give in. Well I have carried that advice a long time because it works.

I learned from another bike, that these forms are the best. 1. there is a lot of smart people in here that know a lot about these bikes, 2. there are a lot of people in here that have done things you should not have done and willing to share. 3. There is just a lot of great people in here willing to help. I just got my 07 in May 2015, I have not met anyone in person yet but hope to in 2016

It is the little things in life that make it worth while. I have to admit, it was a rough high 70s here, and I got about 50 miles on my bike. I have been suffering with a bad cold which has kept me from adding some real miles to my bike Keep it going

The ever changing twists and turns of life with Tippy..
Larry1963 replied to cowpuc's topic in Watering Hole
WOW, Great Christmas story. Talking about answered prayers. Like someone else here, I was not liking where the story was going when you first started, but it ended so well. As a pastor of a couple small churches, I see everyday how peoples lives are turned upside down, and what they did yesterday they cannot do today, age has nothing to do with it. Why I have come up with, life is a balance, even with the greasy foods puc, we have to work, but work is not our primary focus of life. We need to learn to enjoy, as a motorcyclist, everyday we do not ride, but could have, we can never gain that day back, gone, vanished into a vapor of this thing called life. Everyday you didn't say I love you to a loved one is a day lost. Again Great story cowpuc -

It not that I a rebellious, in fact I am very much a follow the rules kind of guy. However, I do fail to read or understand instructions well, ask my wife. So I didn't mean to go against the grain, just trying to have fun -

Two years ago I went to Daytona Bike week, at the race track they had a vendor selling V-8 bikes and I think V-6 ones. He let me ride around the parking lot a V-8 I think it had one gear forward and a reverse. However not as heavy or hard to handle as I thought, put in gear and you go, you did not need to put it in natural at a stop light. To be honest I would like to have one. Maybe more for show but I would like to have a bike like that.
