    I have to run to the big city of Valdosta today, I will check at Gander Mountain and see what they have. Looking on their web site Gander is suppose to carry them.

    @aharbi thanks for the info on the spot I am really interested in it. Where do I find it for 49 dollars or free? I was looking at Amazon and it is for 139.00 I really do not need until later this year but if I can get it now if the price is right

    Prayers sent up I will put her on our churches prayer list. My church loves my motorcycle hobby, we have so many people on the prayer list that they do not know but faithfully pray for each day.

    Today in Southern GA was cool (cold for us) and sunny, but yesterday it was cold with snow flurries. It is odd for us to get any kind of snow, since I have been here, since 2000 we may get flurries but no snow that sticks.

    @aharbi thanks for the info. I was looking for something like this. I cannot think of the guys name now that did the music tour on his bike, he had APRS (Amateur Positioning Radio System), but the problem with it is, is that you are relying on other volunteers to have it setup in their homes to make it work. I was looking for something more reliable for this purpose. My wife does not ride with and I know she wont admit it but she worries when I am on the bike. If I am not at home on time my phone rings off the hook. What is the monthly cost of this.

It has USB ports so you can charge your phone. I was thinking of tapping into my battery and wiring a plug to one of my saddle bags and that way when driving it would be charging.

    Did you hold your tongue right when you turned them on? When I first got mine, the guy before didn't use the CB so when I turned it on, it seem not to work. What I found out each function, CB, CD player, radio, has its own volume control when you are in that mode. I found out the hard way with the CB, when I figure it out, I turned the volume up all the way and forgot about it. I was going down the road, tunes doing good in my helmet, and all of a sudden a loud booming voice came through the helmet speakers telling me there was a "picture taker" up ahead. Long story to say check the volume

    check this place out http://www.militarycampgrounds.us/georgia/grassy-pond-recreation-area this is a nice area run by Moody AFB, it use to be only military people could stay there, but now they have military and non-military price. On a nice lake for fishing, cabins if the wife gets mad at you....... lot of trees and stuff. It is close to the FL line. Larry

    I am in the middle of South GA, off I-75, Tifton, Valdosta area. If you see a campground and you want me to go look at it let me know. I drive over and take pictures for you. There seems to be a nice one in Tifton right next to the HD dealer, exit 62 off I-75 But yes book early, and since you are in a motorhome, you could stay a while at one place then move. where I am at a lot of flat land riding, but it is riding and not keeping motorcycle in a garage over the winter. I guess you are not associated with the military. At the Navy bas NASJAX has a nice RV park. I use to go with a friend there and fish the river. Let me know how I can help. Larry

    @Freebird Thank you for the technical jargon you used. I am sure it has helped most people understand what you are saying. But for me, I sit here in the bed sheets converted to a toga wondering if this means there will be no chat room and thinking to myself what the heck did he just say. Was he using coded language to throw me off...........
