3.5 mm Bluetooth adapter - pretty cool
Larry1963 replied to dave_wells's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
I was looking at doing something with the CD player but in my research I have found guys that use a GPS with XM radio or MP3 player in it. I need a GPS, I could kill two birds with one stone -
What he said, ok not kidding

It was in the low 50s or high 40s today and very windy, but clear and sunny. My New Years resolution is to ride everyday I can regardless of the weather. Of course safety is a factor here, I would not ride in snow or ice conditions. However, I put on about 50 miles today.

There was another thread here about the CD changer. I would like to get rid of it and put something more modern in it but maintain the original audio controls of the bike. So I have been doing some searching and found this. http://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-1BM-H81C0-T2-00-Audio-1BMH81C0T200-Made/dp/B00AJQTU2E I first found it on eBay and then I seen the part number so I did a search on that.... Just wondering if anyone has tried this. have others replaced the CD changer.

VR Chat Toga Party Scheduled for Thursday Night!

My difficulty is what to wear under the toga LOL -
I was reading past history on this subject. It seemed to me some of the 2011 people were talking that the CD changer was no longer being made and Yamaha had offered an iPod shuffle with and adapter for the CD changer. I could care less, about cassette deck, why Yamaha left it in I do not know. What would be nice is to upgrade the CD player to an MP-3 player. Or to install a XM radio in place of the CD player. If someone got a pin layout, you would think with all the brain power we have in here we could make, and possibly manufacture a cable to adapt to this.

The church I work for has Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Tricare prime does not work well with other insurance companies. I have had a couple medical issues last year, Tricare prime sent me a letter to get an obamacare supplement

I know the president and other say our country is in the best of condition and jobs are good. And I know Obamacare is the answer to our prayers with universal health care coverage. However, 16K would break most of us. I have two insurances, Tri Care Prime, from my retirement, and BC&BS, I had a stroke like event, Bell Palsy, you would think I had plenty insurance. I got a bill for 3K yesterday, for one emergency room visit for possible stroke. I can appeal it, which I am, but we all need to look to make sure we have enough coverage.

Oldie but Goodie - July 1986 issue of "Venture Road" magazine
Larry1963 replied to VanRiver's topic in Watering Hole
Cool thanks I will have to go back and read all of it later. But I like the cover photo of all the bikes lined up. Next time someone has a big rally with all the bikes, we should line them up by year, looping around. Publish our own photo. -
now you will think twice about going to the dark side. A good mud and snow tire would be worth it now LOL
