  1. no probe that I can see. will have to look for it. think the battery came for batteries' plus. The wife brought it home. When I got the bike it did not have a battery
  2. didn't see any compressor on the bike. there is a air valve on the side of the crank case. Had the wind knock it over. is there a away to raise the suspension
  3. how do I inflate the suspension on a 1988 venture. At this time it will not sit on the kick stand. because it sits too close to the ground
  4. have problems with 1988 venture battery light staying on. Even though the battery is at 14 volts. is there a way to reset it
  5. been trying with air cleaner off thought you sync the carbs with air cleaner off also. If all it is, is the air box has to be closed up, that would be neat .Have the carbs apart and soaking. looking for the choke shaft bushing that hit the floor
  6. were is the tip over switch located
  7. on this note will the fuel pump stop running when it is up to pressure. Or will it run and by pass the pressure though a by pass valve
  8. bought a 1988 Venture that had been sitting for 5 years. I had to change out the needle and seats because they were stuck. Also freed up the slides. It still only runs on choke and slow speed. Put a level tube on the float bowl. It maintains level when I try to give it throttle, and the slides start to flutter. But it cuts out. Was thinking if it was one or two bad carbs it would ramp up, just have no power. If it was the fuel pump the carb fuel level would change. I shot carb cleaner through the main jet when I had it a part. Looking for ideas
