hey guys the best part of the hole day is when you get home and post so we know you all made it here and back safe. it was a great to meet with so many new friends my next one will be a day ride with some of the roads i injoy riding and i belive most of you all will too. hey hope he got a good deal as most dealers cant give the 1300 Vstars away i have seen them go cheaper than a used 1100 classic a new one should be around 7000. out the door or less and if i was looking id stick to the LESS side

I have the T-Bag system and its great well made and have not had a problem with it in over 3years now still looks new and comes with a built in rain cover i have the large tour pack and would easily recommend it I had this system at the same time as the t-bags tour pack and i used it a few times looks nice but its not as functional compared to the T-Bags harder to access the contents of the bag a real pain in my opinion but if this is what you want look around i gave less then a 100. dollars for mine new the T-Bags run a bit more but well worth what you pay:thumbsup2: Dray

from orignal owner never ridden hard or in the rain it has been layed down a few time but cleaned up well afterwards two tone paint job and has never run out of gas he clames its a good ride for around town or getting a gallon of milk

if you ever ship again over seas spray it down good with cosmoline to prevent this type of thing happening again also if it was in good shape when you sent it you did your part nothing to feel guilty about and he should have taken pics of bike before it was completely removed from crate and as each part was removed to see what kind of shape it was in id bet hes just trying to get you to cough up some cash for his restoration or rebuild he wants to do he could have swapped the parts himself from a older bike and sprayed it with mud its hard to say once it leaves me its no longer my problem as long as I'm honest in the first place for get it and have a good summer Dray

thats what im looking for every one seems to have the plastic ones the old brass ones must not be as cheap as they used to be as i cant find any yet and years ago i had hundreds of them LOL most of it is finished even have oil in it getting close now Dray

ok its mostly done but I'm not happy yet the restrictors didn't do what i wanted them to so i have a better idea I'm going to try i went looking for parts today and no one had what i wanted so later this weekend I'm going to run to Saginaw to see if i can find one more part I'm going to try a air adjuster for an aquarium so i can set it so how much air is allowed to flow through the line

this is what happened last fall I used a friends carbtune to set my carbs ever sense bike runs but runs like crud stalls when stopping or going slow. this all started after the carbtune tune up. so today what i did is a bit of parts buying i picked up 14 foot of 3/16 clear tubing and a pair of line restricters and some lite weight oil now on Wednesday I'm going to put it together and have a home made Man-O-Meter and then I'm going to find out just how good the carbtune really is or not at this point i have 9 bucks into my manometer and it should work just fine ill let you all know how it worked out next week when i get a chance to work on the bike with some luck ill get a day when it will hit the 40 deg. mark dray
