i had the day off today so i thought id put my new trailer togeather; things started out good i took out the shell top and bottom set them on the lawn and went back took the fenders out and set them aside; now i started to asemble the trailer this went very quick with out even looking in the book almost done and i see a small inch and a half pice of black plastic in the box now im thinking the worst as i pick up my fenders and look for the broken one and there both still good well back to tighting all the bolts i have in the trailer and i go in the house to get a soda. on my way back out the door i see some dirt on my cover to the box OH NO its not dirt its a HOLE broken so i call harbor freight and they are very nice and looking up part #s for me and getting me a new shell lid and when talking to them i look at the bottom and its not broken but the corner is crushed in well now the trailer is done and im waiting for the new shell for it SHHHEEEESSSSSSSS just cant win some days now the good news is in two weeks ill have TWO not ONE but 2 trailers for my lill scooter and you get pics when done Dray

Yes But the farther the load is to one end you have less weight at the other put a 100 lbs at one end of a two foot bar and try to pick it up on one end now extend the bar to six foot with the same 100lbs at the same spot as on the two foot bar and you will find its easy to pick it up and the longer the bar the easyer it will be till you hit a point the bar is just to weak or it flexes to much

using this thinking the use of a lever would not help in lifting anything so if me and you are carrying a box 8foot long full of stuff and the box is all loaded on your end and its being carryed with 6in. handles evenly spaced out each end and its between us my end with nothing in it is going to be the same weight as your end COOL so next time i move you want to come help carry all the heavy stuff

whats that look like it may make an interesting trailer body

in the rain a few days ago on my way home from work I heard a loud POP! and the lights went out when i got home i checked and sure as heck the fuse was shot so i changed it out and then i had high beams only so the other day i had some time after work and checked out the simple stuff in the headlight bucket all ok fuse block ok and wires i could see without getting into the harness so i took it to the dealer after work yesterday and sure as heck it was the dimmer switch went POP so they wired my lights for the passing lamps to stay on all the time and my bright too! cool eh so now i have lights and they had to order a new dimmer FREE! to me as the little 05 Vstar classic is still under warranty yup im lovin it today:smile5: Dray
