  1. I used foam. Let it dry, shave it down for a smooth fit and then screws and gorilla glue. Works great!
  2. I had the same problem cleaned all jets, new plugs getting spark and still had problem. Got some heat shrink as last resort and put on plug wire caps. Solved the problem. Plug wire was arching when in place. It was an easy fix. If you have tried everything else I would look at plug wires. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
  3. Think I found the problem. Took heat shrink and covered from plug cap and back about 10 inches. Back to 4 cylinders. Thanks for all your help. Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
  4. The question I have is, could I have done any damage to my engine running it on 3 cylinders for about a 1000 miles? Did not realize I was lacking a cylinder. It is a 1986 Venture Royal. Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  5. So I looked in the settings and have not found anything about paid subscriptions. Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  6. Where do I go on the site to pay my dues? Love the site but can't figure out how. Thanks Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  7. Where do I go to pay my membership dues? Want to pay but can't figure out how. Thanks Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  8. OK... So I tried cleaning everything that I could reach without taking the carb off. I tried the plug in the wire out of the cylinder and it has spark. I tried putting some gas in the carb and nothing. I sprayed carb cleaner in all carbs and 3 respond, back right does not. Any ideas where to go from here? Thanks for what ever help you can offer. Signed befuddled!!! Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  9. Can anybody tell me the location of the pilot jet on 1986 Venture Royal carbs? I have one cylinder that has spark but not firing. Was told this would be a good place to start. Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  10. How do I get to the contact to check it? Where is it located? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
  11. I have a 1986 and the gear shift indicator and neutral light works when on the side stand but not when up right. Any one have this problem? How can I fix? Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  12. I have a 1986 Venture Royal that runs great when warmed up. The problem is it takes about 20 minutes of running under load before it stops stalling. After warmed up if I stop for more than five minutes it stalls again until run five or ten minutes under load. This is very frustrating, any one else experience this? Thanks for your input! 13. So I think I have found that the miss is a mixture problem that is not a problem. Under load it runs fine and was advised not to mess with mixture as it could make things really bad. I have noticed that this engine is really cold blooded! Has to warm up almost 20 minutes before it quits stalling. Think my winter project will be to rebuild carbs. Any one know what it would take to change to fuel injection if possible? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
  14. I guess the 35 is not to bad for stop and go. Thank you!! Sent from my NX785QC using Tapatalk
  15. Thank you for that info I will try it and post the results. Any idea on what kind of mpg I should be getting? Sent from my SPH-D710 using Tapatalk
