My guess is that the 10ft hose is for those that have a trailer. Just a guess.

Pressure wise it should work. The rear shock can be filled to over 40 lbs by the class system. The compressor does not know if it is connected to a shock or a tire. Pressure is pressure. BUT, with that said. A tire is a lot more volume than either the front or rear shocks. I do not know if the onboard compressor has enough duty cycle to pump that much volume of air without over heating. But if it really is only for roadside emergency, then you can always pump for 5 minutes and let it cool for 10 till you get the tire filled.

Elag In order to have the correct focus the light producing element must be in the correct place, the rest of the bulb can be anywhere and might be bigger than an H3, I do not know. Or just send them an email with your question, tell them what housing you are wanting to put it into.

Bob, I mount the toll transponder to the inside top of the trunk, it works just as good through the plastic of the trunk as it would thru the plastic windshield of a bike or the glass of a cage.

I got collector plates for my bike just so that I never have to worry about stickers ever again. Collector plates are forever. Or at least another 18 years till it qualifies for Antique plates.

Fuse panel
Flyinfool replied to SC89Venture's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
That looks real close to letting the magic blue smoke out of all of the electronics on that bike. Since there are so few fuses left, is everything now just hot wired?? -
I know it is the obvious, but have you called the cable provider daily to complain and have them remove the days charges from your bill? No sense paying for something that you are not getting. Whether you were going to use it or not.

That looks to be the same cross reference from the SuperBrightLED web page. On the Super Bright LED page it is listed as a 194/168 LED bulb that replaces all of those in the list.

I have pulled over to let them pass or even turned off the road to go around a block when slowing down did not work. In all of my years I have only had one person follow me around the block still tailgating, at that point he got a horsepower lesson and I never saw him again.

We can mix and match any type of bulb or kit that HID Country carries to get to the minimum. The group buy does NOT have to be all H4 Motorcycle Kits. I am getting HID for my truck as my part of this group buy. So don't be afraid to look into other kits, they have a lot of neat stuff. They are even getting into LEDs. As far as the dimensions of the H3, Your best bet would be to call them and discuss what you have and are doing. The times that I have called them they have been very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They are not easy to call, you usually have to leave a message and wait for a callback. I send them an email with my basic question and a call back number and best call time. The first time I placed an order with them, I ordered online. They thought my order looked like a weird combination so they called me to be sure that it was really what I wanted, they were right, I had not ordered what I really wanted, what I really wanted cost less than what I ordered. They gave up a more expensive sale to have a happy customer. That means a lot in my "Will buy again book".

We have been having one of the hottest, most humid AND wettest summers on record. I thought it was wonderful to wake up to 50 degrees and actually NEED my long sleeve shirt to ride in total comfort. I hope this sticks aroud for a while, but I know it wont, It is supposed to be back up in the 90s tomorrow with dew points up in the 70's. Bummer

I went with the EBC HH on the right front, with the old original rubber brake line still, and unfortunately yesterday I had to find out that that is enough to lock up the front tire even with no application of the foot brake.

You did the right thing by not touching him. You are the one that would have all of the legal troubles. BUT I would have waited and turned in a DWI.

I don't know. In the damage photos there is structural damage to critical flight components. I don't know I would try to fly with a broken horizontal stabilizer that was held on with duct tape. Even if it is the better 100mph type tape.

Also if you slo mo thru the 1:16 mark you can see what looks like glass from a broken headlight materialize out of thin air, bounce around on the ground and then in just one frame it all vanishes from sight. My BS detector is making a lot of noise right now.

How NOT to use heavy equipment on a wet field
Flyinfool replied to friesman's topic in Watering Hole
I have only ever personally seen one tractor stuck in the mud. It while I was visiting on my uncles farm. He went back to the house to get his big old Ford P/U and proceed to get that stuck to. Fortunately (for him) it was close enough to the road that between us we had enough chain, cable and tow straps to reach the road and I was able to pull his tractor and P/U out with my GMC P/U. It was only a week after that that he sold his Ford P/U and got a GMC P/U just like mine. -
I keep gas logs for all of my vehicles. I record the mileage, the date, the brand, the type of gas, the gallons, and the cost. I have noticed that there is a difference in MPG between brands. It does not matter where in the country i get the gas, I see the same differences in MPG. I understand that all of the brands come out of the same pipe and that the additive package is added at the time it goes into the truck. The only reason that I can surmise is that it is the additives that are making the difference. I have gas logs covering almost 1 million miles of my driving. I can see the exact difference in MPG between the new er crap gas with ethanol and real gas. I just avoid the brands that my vehicle does not like. FWIW there is one brand that works best in one of my vehicles and is worst in another.

There are a lot of places that drive like that. They are growing so fast that no one has had time to make up any rules of the road over there. The Chinese travel system is designed for carts pulled by oxen and bicycles. These automobile things just do not compute. At least it looks like most of them drive under 20mph. but think about it 2 years ago there were very few cars, now they are selling more cars than the USA. EVERYONE over there is a noob behind the wheel. At least over here when a noob does something dumb there is a good chance that the other driver is older, and has a lot of experience to avoid the situation. That vid is funny, scary, but funny. I still think that that road would be fun, it would be shear terror getting there.

Wow This looks like it would be a really fun road to ride with some incredible views. [ame=http://www.slideshare.net/Nubiagroup/tinamen-mountains-china-pps-by-dan-calistrat]Tinamen Mountains- China (pps by Dan Calistrat)@@AMEPARAM@@ssplayer2.swf?doc=nubiagrouptinamenmountains-ppsbydancalistrat-100813092935-phpapp02&stripped_title=tinamen-mountains-china-pps-by-dan-calistrat@@AMEPARAM@@nubiagrouptinamenmountains-ppsbydancalistrat-100813092935-phpapp02@@AMEPARAM@@tinamen-mountains-china-pps-by-dan-calistrat[/ame] To bad it is all of the way on the other side of the world and I have no pontoons for my 1st gen to be able to ride across the big pond to get there.

Hey you can come up here to set up camp in my back yard. Wisconsin should get you far enough away to get her yelling down to a tolerable level. It MIGHT also be far enough to be out of range for any projectiles she may feel inclined to launch. Well otherwise have fun with it.

How NOT to use heavy equipment on a wet field
Flyinfool replied to friesman's topic in Watering Hole
That equipment looks to be well planted, now it just needs a good serving of bullsh!t to fertilize it and by next summer there should be a nice crop of toy tractors ready for harvest. -
Will it help the bike stay cool if you keep the revs up a little while in traffic? I would think that a slightly higher RPM, maybe 1500-2000 RPM, while stopped would make for a higher voltage to run the fan a little faster and also keep the water pump pumping faster. Or does it just not matter?

I have never shipped anything out of the USA. I will have to do some looking into to see what is involved. PM me you Address so that I have some real numbers to work with.
