  1. Well it is obvious to even a lowlife like me........ .........Just hold at 64........
  2. I still have real flight 2, I need a better puter to run anything newer. As far as breaking in the engines now or next spring. I always break in my engines in the air. I do one tank on the ground and then go fly. I have a Yellow Aircraft Stingray on the boards right now. This will most likely need a speed control to keep it under 200 mph. I still have not decided between the Wren 44 gold and the Jet Central Bee for power. I also have a Reaction 54 with P70, for making big holes in the sky, it will get a smoke system over the winter. My Giant Stinger with G62 has some issue with the engine, the last time I flew it it suddenly started to run really bad and just barely enough power to make it back to the field. Then I need to pick out a few more projects to get the airplane fleet back to an "acceptable" level. I have 2 helies that both need a major rebuild this winter. I may have to build another new heli to get the fleet size back up. Once these 2 are rebuilt i will still only have 6 ready to fly. That will never do....
  3. As long as the bottle has been indoors, sealed and not exposed to sunlight it should be good for at least 10 years. The manufacturers top off the bottle with dry nitrogen to displace any moisture or oxygen from the fuel. It keeps quite well. Sunlight will break down the nitro and it starts to turn into nitric acid. You also get nitric acid as a component of the exhaust. SO then, What ya buildin????
  4. This just looks like the potential of way to much fun. And weighing just 231 lbs means that there is no license required to use it. http://thekneeslider.com/archives/2011/06/09/hoverbike-the-twin-rotor-bmw-boxer-powered-flying-motorcycle/
  5. But some people have so much garbage to dump that I get buried and can't just walk away.
  6. In an AC generator there should not be any stored electricity to worry about unless it is an inverter type, and the inverter type should have circuitry designed in to discharge the capacitors when it is off. Glad you got it working, NOW QUIT BREAKING STUFF!!!
  7. Around 10°F Officially, wind chill is not calculated for wind over 60 mph. http://www.srh.noaa.gov/ssd/html/windchil.htm
  8. My beard is a winter only thing. Every spring it falls off and ya, you sure do feel naked for a couple of days.
  9. http://www.mcmaster.com/#machine-screw-fasteners/=erb84a They have everything.
  10. OK another silly question. Is there a reason that you are using #10-24 screws and the need to tap out the holes instead of the metric ones that fit the existing hole?
  11. So I have to ask WHY.
  12. Well what do you like. I can't think of a place where ONLY ice cream falls from the sky, and the only use for the "weather man" is to know what flavor is going to fall tomorrow. But if you find it, let me know, I'll move there also.
  13. Before AND After
  14. Is it even possible to OD on peanut butter cups?????? I don't think so...... We had ZERO monsters come to the door. More PBCs for me.
  15. I start mine as soon as I get it out of the shed and let it run on full choke while I get dressed to ride. 2 minutes max. I then lower the choke till it gets down to around 1500 rpm to get it in gear without the big clunk, then I close the choke back to 3/4 to full depending on how cold it is. I have to be very careful taking off from stops for the first half mile so that it does not stall, after that it runs fine, as soon as the temp gauge starts to move, about 2 miles, I can take the choke off completely and all is good for the rest of trip to work. Yes she is a cold blooded beast, but once she gets warmed up she likes to be ridden.
  16. About to be arrested for driving on the sidewalks "again".
  17. Single for the moment, but she is working on me.......... Even after this....
  18. Hmmmmmm...... Obviously the supervisor needs supervision. Who would use water on an oil fire, SHEESSH..........

  20. You have my condolences on having to admit to your advancing age by getting a 2nd gen. But at least it is red. Red gets you 5 MPH back because we all know red is best AND fastest.
  21. Snaggles may have had the first starter clutch mod, I think I had the second one. It has been in there a while now and still doing great.
  22. I DO, I DO shoot them!!! I have one in the freezer so far that I stuck with a pointy stick.
  23. When it is cold out, I have to use about 3/4 choke to keep it running till it gets warmed up good. As it gets colder it is normal to need more choke. At least it always was that way back in the day when cars had a manual choke and on every bike I have ever owned.
