I could never buy that one, it is way to clean to be mine.....

Hey, That one came out of my back yard. Well almost. That is the same dealer that I bought my '88 from. At the time I was looking they had 5 ventures on the showroom floor including one just like that. Good thing it is not the SAME one that was there 5 years ago. I did notice that in the pic of the whole dash it is showing 97,270 miles. The add says 97,268 miles so someone was able to drive it 2 miles, this is a good thing, BUT then there is a close up pic of the speedo showing 36,923 miles and that is not even a venture speedo?????

I used to run a RC helicopter forum so I can feel your pain with trying to control the spam. Thanks for doing the hard part. There are enough idiots that do respond to spam and give them money to make it worth their effort, If there was no payback they wouldn't do it. I read somewhere once that it only takes 2 hits from 1 million spams to generate a profit.

Only if you want to go and drown worms in the trout stream that runs thru the backyard..... As to what kind of work will be getting done. It is easier to predict the Superbowl champions before the season starts. All you can do is to make a post to ask what people are interested in doing, (oh wait you kind of just did that) it is different every year. I would Venture to guess that carb synchs are the most common maint done at a MD. Last year we were doing some electrical and greasing pins, year before that it was electrical and cutting holes in windshields, year before that it was mainly carb work. The most important work that gets done is consuming food and beverage and a lot of BSing. You may not have to buy fertilizer for years........

Ray I still think we may have met without knowing it at IRCHA. If you have ever been to any of the SWARM parties, then I am sure we met. I am the inventor and chief cook of the famous IRCHA Rum Balls.- 28 replies

I had a pretty heavy workout last night. I went out and shoveled the great white death, all 2 inches of it. Then I came in the house and did a ton of reps doing arm curls. I must have gone thru at least a quart of ice cream doing those arm curls.

I know that very electric fencer that he is talking about. My uncle has that very one on his farm to try to keep the cows in. While visiting him once my uncle was working out in the barn and saw that we were heading toward the fence so he turned the fence off. My buddy checked the fence to be sure it was off and after being sure it was off went to step over the fence wire. It was at that exact moment that my uncle turned it back on....... Almost as funny as when the dog lifted a leg and peed on the wire......... -
My Plumbing Leak is Found - Need Advise Please
Flyinfool replied to GolfVenture's topic in Watering Hole
If that is silicone caulk on there I would cut it out and replace so that you know it is a permanent fix. It is almost impossible to get all traces of silicone off and any trace left behind will only create a new leak thru your repair. To replace that elbow and do it right you are not looking at a lot of dollars worth of parts. As was mentioned, give your pipe repair some time before you redo the wall. This will also insure that everything in there is dried out good before you close in moisture to make more mold. Make sure you clean up and/or replace anything with black mold on it. Make an effort to be sure you find it all. Nasty stuff. -

The is here right now. I''l pack it up right away and get it over to you for tonight. I sure wish I could borrow a toy like that. -
I'm jealous. I have a long list of winter projects to do, but I have not even started to order the parts yet. This earning a living and supporting all of these retired people is really getting old.

Oil leak leads to request for shim kit

If you already have the bolts out, rather than pulling the runner seal off to put a washer on just replace the bolt seal with a new one. And if you have tall of the bolts out, you are not that far from having the cover off and just do it right with new gaskets too. Then you are done for the next 20 years. Unless you need your valve clearance checked. This is a good time to that too. -
