  1. There's always the lawn mower.......
  2. Oh to be young with reflexes and hand - eye coordination again........... Great flight, I'll never be good enough to half of that stuff. I'll just continue to dull everyone's senses with rum so that my flying looks good.
  3. My truck is suffering from a bad case of chemical weight reduction. The rust is coming thru from the inside in areas that there is no access to the inside. I am not a body man by any stretch of the imagination. I am not looking to restore it to like new appearance just to stop the cancer and cover the holes to keep it from getting worse and stop the whistling in the wind. I was looking at POR15 or Rust Bullet. But I have no idea of how to get it to the insides of the areas that are rusting. The rust has created plenty of holes stick things in there. Is there some kid of a wand spray gun that can be had for not to much cash? I was then going to fix the areas with glass cloth and epoxy resin, followed by some Bondo to smooth it out a little before I buzz bomb it.
  4. Maybe I can even drag along a couple of the other members from the Milwaukee area.
  5. I hate it when that happens. Fortunately I'm not that old yet........
  6. I was planning on corrupting/introducing this bunch to my world famous IRCHA class rum balls at some MDs this summer. They just seem to work so well on a Friday night. Maybe need to bring a night ship to complete the experience............
  7. That has to really suck. Some times it is better to not post and just watch for it to show up so that you can then go to buy it with a LEO as your helper. Check your insurance carefully. On my policy the trailer is only covered while connected to the tow vehicle. Even to the point that if the ball were to break and the trailer took off on its own and hit another vehicle, it is not covered. I specifically asked these questions of my agent and he had to check with the main office. For me a trailer is only really covered if it has its own policy. It is the same for my little trailer for behind the bike or the big RV for behind the truck.
  8. Go for it. Look at all of the fun Kic is having with his seals......... My 88 is not leaking, so when I get my progressives I ain't touching those seals. I have 45K on it.
  9. And if you have the manual trany, it will not handle the torque for long. That is why you could only get the 350 with an automatic. As it was I had issues withe the manual trans in my 91 formula.
  10. Well the streets dont look to bad. I have ridden home in several inches of partly cloudy a few times.
  11. I tried to warn you. Now look, Dan,s bawling.
  12. Nice lookin ride. Just don't let Yammer Dan see it.........
  13. Famous last words. Ranks right up there with "hold my beer............" Since you are so close we really need to meet. I knew I couldn't be the only venture rider in Milwaukee county. I was thinking of doing a M&E next month. If you need a hand, or at least someone to harass you while working let me know. I can break anything.
  14. If you need misc parts for the engine let me know. I have an almost complete but disassembled engine from an 85 with a bad 2nd gear. I'm not to far away from you.
  15. Yes we all know the 2nd gens are all a little special, that is why the 1st gens always stop at the next ice cream stand to wait for them.....
  16. I always figured that these stories from computer help desks were just made up stuff. After all, no one can possibly be that clueless. Until my mother called me to find out what to do because the mouse pointer was in the middle of the screen but the mouse was all the way to the very right edge of the desk and she needed to click on something on the right edge of the screen. I now have to believe every single one of the stories I hear from the help desks. Including this one.
  17. Dang I missed it.
  18. A little salt helps the wound heal.

    GUNS

For home protection the hand gun is a lot more practical. Even a small rifle or shotgun gets real big real fast in the confines of a house.

    GUNS

Sure, bring up another one of my fun expensive hobbies. Now I have to run to the hobby shop on my way to the gun store.......... I cant afford them either, but that never stopped me.........

    GUNS

The Thompson Contender is one of the more popular. I have the Magnum Research Lone Eagle, and the other one that was popular was the Remington XP-100. All 3 come chambered for and can handle, big rifle cartridges.

    GUNS

Dang it anyhow. Posting up threads like this. This is just nuts. We should not be allowed to talk about such things here. Aren't there rules about posting stuff about another fun expensive hobby (guns) in a forum that is for a different expensive hobby (bikes)? Now I have to go and visit the gun store.....again......

    GUNS

A lot depends on what you intend to use the rifle for and what you intend to use the handgun for. More info will help us help you spend your money wisely. In addition to those listed above there are some high power handguns that will take most of the popular rifle rounds, I have a rifle in 7mm-08 and also a handgun that uses that same 7mm-08. other popular calibers are .308 .243 30-06 .270 30-30 35 whelen and more
  24. Cotton "pats" out quite easy. Polyester or nylon do not "pat" out that easy once burning. BUT, I would think that the flame would use up all of the oxygen in a pocket pretty quick. The only way I can see this being fatal is if he was around something else extremely flammable or there were other "chemicals" involved in the smoking. But then I was surprised once at just how much of ME could be on fire without me noticing it.
  25. I'm not that way, I'll share with anyone. It looks beautiful. Glad you liked it.
