I feel your pain. Temps to be in the 70s tomorrow, sunny, and gas now well over $4, and no bike to ride till more work gets done.

Basement Project Completed. Now for my Venture Projects

I guess that leave all of us rowdies out. We would be having MDs and M&Es all of the time. -
I have my angles at 15* for the single and center and at 20* for the 2 outer. I was almost wondering if that was not enough angle. At 15* I do not thing the pole would pull out it it hit something. I was going to use 1" electrical conduit x 7 foot long for the flag pole. this would allow a 3' x 5' flag to not drag on the ground. I think that if the conduit hit something it would bend before taking down the bike.

McMaster-Carr P/n 8671K68 $1.42 per foot up to 8' long 1/8 thick x 4" wide x 4' long white Polyethylene Polyethylene is the stuff that your cutting board is made of. They have other thicknesses and withes available.

Looks good A flag holder is on my winter to do list. I was going to do a single holder but then another member suggested that I make it a triple. So far I only have these CAD drawings. I was going to retain the mast with a pin or bolt. On the triple the outer two sockets are angled a little back so that the outer flags will be lower and behind the center flag. Now I just need time to do it.

If I ever get up the nerve, ambition, time, and finances to align at the same time I would love to do a repaint of my bike. I was not planning on worrying about the strips, I just figured they would come off with the paint as soon as I got out the DA sander.

First crack of an eyebrow was reading number 4 Faster charge rate means more amps. Then the other eyebrow went up at number 8 Again they are implying that more amps are needed from the electrical system and it is not some special circumstance needed to make it draw more amps. Then I got to number 9 This is what I was thinking as I was reading this. In order to charge at a higher rate simply means more amps out of the the stator and the Regulator/rectifier on a bike that already has a marginal system. They are talking about possibly damaging car alternators that have a LOT more power available than out bikes. I am going onto the 5th year on my Yuasa, that has never seen a maintainer while it sat in the bike out in a cold steel storage shed thru Wisconsin winters, and was planning to go to an AGM when this one dies. After reading this, I am not so sure now. I wonder how many AGM users have replaced and/or upgraded there stator and/or RR to the higher output ones??? Was it because of the battery and no one ever made the connection?

I was afraid of that.

I think he might have, maybe, possibly, been trying to say V3ry w311 d0n3 J3ff I guess spell check is not much help here.

Nice job. I have been using a different type of plan. The plan is to take smaller bites so that you burn more calories shoveling the food into the pie hole. I FOUND a good chunk of the 77 lbs you lost, would you like it back........

My Brother could use your support and input.

There is a slew of "Car door protectors" on that site. Which one is him? -
Well you really don't have to worry about the men with no arms.........

Does it turn over? Does it have spark? give it a small squirt of gas or starting fluid into the intake to see if it will even pop. On my truck it takes 60psi of fuel pressure to start but will run on 50psi. I have used starting fluid in a pinch to get it over the starting hump when the fuel pump was going and would only give me 55psi. This is just for a one time shot to get it home or to the shop, because the pump is within minutes of going out completely.

After watching what my 2 sisters went thru building houses, there is no way I could do it and have the contractor stay out of the hospital/morgue and me stay out of prison..... I hope all goes smooth for you. Do you own the hill where the pics are taken from? I would put the house up there if feasible. I like high places and farther from the road. But thats just me.

Auxiliary brake light wiring

Working 3 jobs.... Barely time left to breath or even enjoy a good fart. I have LOTS to to on the bike and trailer before summer gets here tomorrow. Maybe I'll have stuff left to do AT both Dons MD and WI MD, other than BS, cause trouble, eat and drink. That reminds me, time to order more parts for the pile of things to do........ -
And it a 1st gen.......... I want one. ONLY $185K Think they would paint one red? That should be able to pull a trailer with 400+ lb/ft of torque? It is fast in a straight line, I wonder how it handles the twisties.

As long as buyers are willing to the money, WHY should a seller even consider taking less?

Brain Study.... Wow! It took me a few seconds, but then I got the hang of it...I've seen this with the letters out of order, but this is the first time I've seen it with numbers. Auxiliary brake light wiring
Flyinfool replied to DarkLeftArm's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
This would work the same with side markers. Just take the above directions and everywhere you see "brake" substitute "side marker" Side markers are usually just a few LEDs, You could easily hook both side markers to one controller. And for my next trick. I have designed a couple of mixers to allow a center brake light, AND have it work correctly, on a 4 wire trailer. I need this for mine before the trip to MD. I have a solid state version for those with a little more electrical ability and a relay version for those that are a little more electrically challenged. So far I just have the circuits drawn, I still have to build them to verify all of my math. -
