    The biggest benefit I get out of my radar detector is that it can display a digital voltmeter to help keep tabs on a weak electrical system.

    Another possibility is the vent on the fuel tank can get plugged by insets crawling up in there and the vacuum in the tank will stop gas flow for a bit. I never heard of it being intermittent but one never knows.

    :sign yeah that: If the bike goes down on the right side the crash bar mounts will deflect far enough to nick that plastic elbow and as soon as the weight is off the bar it springs back to where it belongs so you have no clue that it was being bad. I don't know if boats .net is a good place to order from, I just use their diagrams and then order from Earl......

    Most hardware stores do not have metric o-rings. You can get pretty close with SAE rings but do you feel lucky? From what I see on the "Radiator Hose" parts diagram it is item 25 p/n 93210-14104-00.

    I did not find a kit, I had to get all separate parts. As long as your are in that far...........

    The plastic thermostat housing is known to warp sitting there just behind the exhaust pipe. There are some threads on this issue. If you are going in that far, It is a good time to replace the o-rings on the elbow from the water pump and the thermostat housing. And then since all of that has to come off to get to the starter motor, it is a great time to pull the starter for the ground plate mod.

    From the pics on google earth it does not look like you have enough water to have to worry about pond monsters showing up.

    With the detector on the floor it will still go off. But by the time it does it is to late. Having it on the floor does drastically reduce the distance at which it can detect a signal. I do not know if it is still made or not but there used to be a model out there that had a sensor mounted in the grill and a remote display that you could mount under the dash so it would not be seen by people outside of your vehicle. It was also popular on bikes for a while due to its concealability and difficulty in quickly removing.

    NOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo............. Not that, Not Chi traffic. I'll be good, I promise, really I do. I do feel less sore than I expected this morning, as long as I don't breath...... Got a reprieve from trying to get the bike out of the shed today, heavy thunder storms predicted.

    No not the bike. Just me. Climbing on some rocks with wet shoes. You guessed it, I took the fast way down. ended up with 2 cracked ribs, a broken pinky toe and a good knot on my head. I did see stars. SO DON'T MAKE LAUGH with any snide comments, that hurts.
