Jump out of a perfectly good airplane that is airborne. The thought lasted just 1.414 seconds. There is no one capable of getting me out of a perfectly good airplane while it is still airborne. But then I do like the number 3..........a much longer thought.

I have made dealers write in the contract that there is to be no advertising on the vehicle. I made them put in the contract that I get $10 per day for advertising. They are real good at getting those stickers off if it will make or break a sale.

I have to watch this one. I want to put electric brakes onto my HF trailer as well. I can not just mount brakes on to the HF axle, I will have to make a whole new axle from scratch. But that will also give me standard bearings and seals for future maintenance. I do not like the increased stopping distance required. Especially while trying to survive Chicago traffic every time I want to head south or east. I was going to get all of the parts from R and P Carriages just down the road from you. I was looking at several options for the controller. The one that looked the most promising to me was (I forget the brand offhand) one that had a key fob remote control that could adjust the braking force via wireless remote. I was then going to mount the controller onto the trailer to save wiring and mess on the bike. None of the controllers that I have found are even water resistant, they are all designed to mount inside of a cage. You want to be able to control the controller while riding.

Be very careful with both acetone and brake fluid on these bikes. They will both have any plastic or paint they find for lunch.

I never did cover letters. I have never been out of work for more than a month. I just tailored the resume to the job I was applying for. HR people do not like to read, managers like it even less. I was always taught that anything more than one page will go to the bottom of the pile if you are lucky. I don't know if that is true or not, just what I was told. Unless this was advertised as a temporary position, do not make it look like you are after a temp job till you can go back to your "real" job. If it is a permanent position that could turn into a full time position. Treat it like you really want the job and plan to stay forever.

The riding it up is not the hard part, it is the two 90° turns on the way up. No one ever said a 1st gen handled good in tight slow quarters. But where there is a will there is a way. Dang it anyhow, Now you got me thinking on this one.

I tried that once with an old washer and dryer that still worked. After they sat for a month with no takers I put a sign on them for $25 each, now that they had value they were gone overnight.

Down is the easy part........... But now that you mention it, maybe next winter I can bring the bike into the basement to tear it down for a repaint. The bike weighs a lot less than any of the machines I have down there.....

I have a plan....... It is all 1.5 x 1/8 Aluminum angle and aluminum expanded metal floor. Approx weight will be 4 lbs.

The stock tongue is a little short. Too short of a tongue will cause sway at higher speeds. There are a few that have had no sway issues, but most have stretched the tongue for better handling.

That should work fine as a no welding way to do it. I like that cooler rack, I'm gonna steal the design for mine.......

Om the 2nd gen it is pretty much just plug in and ad a power and ground connection. It is recommended to add a switch to be able to turn off the light for starting. Without the switch if the voltage drops to 10V while cranking, there is a protection circuit built into the HID that will turn it off requiring you to shut off the bike and restart.

Since you are from TX you must define cold. Some southerners think that 50 is frigid.... My 88 starts just fine down to 0*F (never tried it colder cuz then I don't start). When it is that cold It needs about half choke for the first mile. Warmer weather I can take off the choke as soon as I get moving.
